I used venison steak instead of steak.I also skipped the flour dredging part. For the sauce I used sweet chili sauce instead of sugar and red pepper flakes and ground ginger as I did not have gingeroot. I served it with thai rice noodles. The heat in this dish was great! I loved it!

pretty tasty, although a bit to spicy for my 3 yr old. I added a couple of Tablespoons of garlic hoisin sauce too... I would try it again with 1/2 the chili seeds. The morning star farms veggie steak & chicken strips are ok, the veggie chicken nuggets, patties, grillers & sausages are awesome for replacing real meat. Sometimes people can barely tell the difference. The strips flavor need a little work.
