This was super easy and really tasty. I liked how nicely the taste of the green chilies came through. I did however triple the egg mixture and added salt and pepper to the mix. Depending on the size of the eggs you may be able to get by with just doubling the egg mixture. It did take a little longer than 30 minutes to cook due to the extra liquid. This would be good as an appetizer, side dish, or for breakfast. I will definitely be making it again.

This recipe looks delicious but reading the reviews I will make some changes. I think using a thin layer of bisquick on the bottom and then using the cheese and chiles as a filling and covering with another thin layer of bisquick will be the way to go. Of course top with cheese at the end of baking. And maybe using more chiles. Looking forward to making this dish soon.

Made this last night for a group, and they loved it. Not too spicy, but very tasty. I did make some changes to it, though. First, I doubled the egg mixture. Then I added 1 T of taco seasoning to the egg mixture. Next time I cook this I will also add some green onions and black olives... and I just might increase the taco seasoning by half.

This was very good. I made it in place of eggs for breakfast. I doubled the eggs, milk & flour. Made an 'eggcellent' little casserole. Will definitely make again and again. Husband loved it. Be sure to preheat oven and bake for exactly 30 minutes just like the recipe says. It turns out perfect. Also I used shredded colby/monterey jack in place of both cheeses.

I served these at a New Years Party. What a Hit! All the men present ask for them whenever they see me. I made a batch with fresh spinach and sausage as well, and have tried ham and cheddar for the kids. It's never failed me. I also double the egg mixture, however.

This was my first try at chili relleno's. I took it to a potluck and was asked for the recipe several time. It was so good and so easy.

I took the previous advise and doubled the egg mixture. DEFINITELY more like quiche than a relleno. I will plan on this as a breakfast/brunch item more than a dinner item. You can dress up lots of different ways...versitile...next time I plan on adding taco seasoning and white onions.......

If the egg/milk/flour mixture isn't at least doubled, the result is a slimy, greasy mess. It's basically 5 cups of cheese baked with some chilis. The 2 eggs don't come close to holding it together, I don't know how one could make 'squares' of this as it is.
