This was exactly the summer-time grilling out recipe I was looking for! For a vegetarian alternative I used the marinade for mango, pinapple, bell peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes and morningstar farms grillers 'chicken' strips. Loved it!!

Saw this on the main page and didn't agree. Did this once before, have the picture to prove it, and I didn't care for it. I did the Chicken and Bacon Shish Kabobs the same night and those supersede this flavor clashing recipe. . . I am known for improvising recipes somewhat, but for this, I copied it down to a "T". And still it just wasn't a favorite at all. . .

I made this recipe for my baby shower. Everyone loved it. I only got a few pieces even though I made over 15 pounds of chicken! I thought maybe it had too much red wine vinegar but everyone else said it was perfect. I'll be making it again this weekend for the 4th of July.

Wonderful flavor. This marinade imparts a flavor similar to tandoori. It was even yummy the next day served cold in pitas with toppings. Yummy!

This recipe was pretty good. I grilled up the chicken with some green bell peppers, onions, and tomatoes, and marinated overnight. I would have been happier if the chicken had a bit more of a lime flavor. Perhaps next time I'll double the amount of lime, and maybe add extra cayenne pepper for a bit more kick.

This is a very flavorful recipe. I doubled the marinade because I used close to 2 pounds of chicken. I marinated for 3 1/2 hours and the flavors were wonderful. The only thing I changed when doubling the marinade was I used the juice of 3 limes instead of 2. I would say this recipe is close to what you would get in a restaurant. We also grilled veggies. Next time I might marinate the veggies too. I will be making this recipe several times this summer.

Very good. I doubled the marinade and added button mushrooms, 1/2 a red onion, and a red bell pepper to the mixture. Awesome on the grill! (I probably used 1/2 tsp of cayenne)

Nice and easy marinade! I used 1 clove fresh garlic instead of garlic powder and left out the onion powder because I didn't have any. I also tossed in about a Tbsp of honey to counter the chili and lime flavor. I was also out of red wine vinegar so I used white wine and marinated the chicken breasts for about 2 hours. It came out good, but the flavor was very subtle. I usually like a stronger flavor on grilled chicken but it was definitely good. I did leave it a bit too long on the grill (a bit dry) so maybe a shorter cooking time would leave a stronger chili-lime flavor. I'd love to try it again and add jalepenoes. Served the chicken with veggies on the grill and also red potatoes that were boiled and then finished on the grill as well. Very nice!

Loved this recipe, it was delicious! I doubled the marinade though and added my veggies to it, to sit for about 1 and a 1/2 hours. Veggies I added were tomatoes, onions, mini potatoes, and one of each color of bell pepper. I also lightly oiled the bbq as suggested by someone else, and they turned out great. I will definately be maing this one again...yummy and so easy!

I use lemon and lime interchangeably so lemon is what I had on hand. This marinade is wonderful! You can set your own kick with the cayenne. The chicken was very tender. We were out of briquets so I broiled them. Will add it to my favorite list.

This chicken was okay but I was a little disappointed. I really thought it would be more flavorful and I used all the ingredients indicated. Doctored, I would give this a better rating, but for the amount of ingredients I put into this, I was expecting something else. I don't think I'll make this again.
