WOW - This is a great marinade! And soo easy to make, with things you already have lying around the kitchen. Also works awesome on steak & pork too! After making this quite a few times the only thing i do a little diff sometimes is to add a little cayenne pepper for a little added kick! Would give 10 stars if i could...thanks for the recipe!

I really had zero expectations for this recipes, I could not think of anything to make and I chose this last minute. Some mods I made to the marinade was that I had no onion powder so I just added in more garlic powder, I also added in 1 tsp chili garlic paste for more chili flavor. I marinated the chicken for 4 hrs and put it on skewers with green pepper and onions and grilled it. When I put the first piece in my mouth I was wowed! I was not expecting such a wonderful melody of flavors. It had great chili flavor with a hint of lime. Although you don't really need any sauce it good on its own, I found that Thai Spicy dipping sauce took it to a whole other level. Everyone else liked this too, I will definitely make this again, plus is that all the ingredients are ones you will find in your cupboard typically! Served this with tossed romaine orange salad & greek pasta salad, both from this site.

I found this tasted somehow funny. I couldn't put my finger on why though. My boyfriend seemed to like it.

My husband and I loved these! I doubled the marinade, and added in red onions and mushrooms. Marinated about 2 hours, but when I was threading the skewers my veggies were definitely falling apart. Grilled in the Foreman Grill for about 4 minutes apiece, and served with pasta. Will definitely be making this again!

I love this recipe. I actually use it to marinade pork loin, then roast it in the oven and serve with fresh lime wedges. For an extra kick, I throw in a few red pepper flakes.

this was very good! i doubled the recipe for 4 boneless chicken breasts and followed exactly except for: i added dried minced onions instead of onion powder and fresh minced garlic instead of garlic powder. the flavors blended really well, and it was quite flavorful! i'm adding it to my marinade collection!

The taste is strong, but delicious. I served it with corn on the cob that I squeezed lime on and spread with cilantro butter.

We love this recipe. I make this at least once or twice/month. Of course, I love lime flavoring! My teenage son even eats this, which is amazing!

This is the only chicken that my entire family loves! My pickiest eater can't wait until dinner when I make this. I use fresh minced garlic rather than garlic powder but everything else stays the same. Unless we're camping and I have to estimate on the measurements. I've even grilled it in a wok and it turned out fantastic. We tried marinating whole boneless skinless breasts and grilling them but the flavor was only on the outside. So now I either kabob it or wok it! Thanks for the wonderful addition to my weekly menu.

Great taste! I skipped the cayenne for my kids' sake and used 2 fresh cloves of garlic since we can't get enough of it around here. For time, did not do kabobs. Very tastey, not at all dry as stated by other reviews even though we use great, big Amish chicken breasts. I suspect it's in how it's marinated & cooked: pierce the chicken all over before coating it & make sure your fire is initially hot to sear & seal in the juices, then turn down your fire & don't overcook it (4-6 minutes per side is all you need). I liked the suggestion about serving it w/ couscous. It was a great combo, and the kids thought it was cool. This recipe made the "keep" list for sure!

I loved this! My first attempt at making kabobs, and although I burnt the veggies I grilled, the chicken came out great. I served them over a bed of white rice...delicious. I'll make this again, thanks!

Grilled this tonight for dinner. Was running very short on time this morning so didn't cut up for kabobs but grilled the chicken breast halves. Marinated them all day and Wow they were great. Love how moist they were and the seasonings. Used about 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper as we don't like things very hot and it was perfect. Will make this again often. Thank you for a very healthy recipe that tastes so good!
