This is a very tasty quick and easy chili recipe. It is hard to cut down recipes to our family size, but this one is perfect. We have a one year old daughter and our son is due in 2 months so neither of us feels like spending many hours in the kitchen for dinner.

Wonderful 5 Star Recipe!!! I only made a few changes...I used garlic powder instead of whole garlic-I didn't have any on hand!! Then I added more chili powder, salt, pepper, paprika, and I added a dash of cayenne pepper! The taste is amazing!!

This was my first attempt at making chili and both my husband and I loved this! It is definitely an easy and confidence-boosting recipe. I doubled the recipe so we'd have leftovers. I also used more beef than the recipe called for and as I like cinnamon, used cinnamon to taste. I let it simmer for an hour and it turned out perfectly. I paired it with a simple beer bread that was perfect for dunking in the chili.

Really very good and so simple! This was almost exactly the right ammount for me and my husband - I had just a little bit left-over for lunch the next day! I would make this again!

I make this chili AT LEAST once a week. Its just so easy to make and so yummy! The only thing I do differently is use regular old black beans instead of chili beans. I just make sure to add some extra chili powder :) super scrumptious!

This was perfect! We even left out the onions and added in some black beans instead and it was amazing! :)

Great place to start, especially because it is a recipe for 2 which is hard to find these days, but needs some modifications for it to really shine. I add a can of tomato sauce and doubled (or more) the chili powder and cumin. I also cooked it on a low heat for an hour to meld the flavors a little more. It had a better color and texture and not too mention flavor when cooked this way.

I made this as followed initially...then I got a taste. It was all tomato, and no action. I added cinnamon, more cumin, and chili powder than it called for...bbq sauce, a touch of beef boulion, and garlic powder. I wont use this recipe again.

This was DELICIOUS! My boyfriend and I both loved it, even though he doesn't typically like spicy foods. I ate this chili with cornbread, and I added a little extra cumin to the recipe. Excellent!

Its freezing out tonight so I made this for dinner. I had a lb of ground sirloin to use so I made this modified for 8 rather than 2 but it was great. I made only slight modifications, mostly for adjusting the size of the recipe and a few for personal taste: used a cup/1 medium white onion, 4 cloves of garlic, only 1 can of beans (my family likes beans but in moderation) 2 cans of tomatoes, probably closer to 3 tbsp of chili powder (we like it hot) and a tbsp of cumin. Excellent! Great flavor, easy, quick and warmed us up on a cold night! Will do it again!
