Chili Cheese Dip I

"This dip couldn't be easier! We had friends drop in unexpectedly, so I created this using what I had on hand. Everyone loved it! Make sure you've got some tortilla chips on hand."

INGREDIENTS

  • 60 ounces chili with beans
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a slow cooker, combine chili, cream cheese, and Cheddar cheese. Set the slow cooker to a low temperature, and let the dip cook until all of the cheeses have melted. Serve warm.

This is a 'no fuss, no muss' recipe; perfect for those lazy summer get togethers! The slow cooker doesn't heat up the house so it is ideal for even the warmest summer days! No prep time, just open a few cans and voila!, a perfect munchie!

Recipe is so easy but needed spicing up: I added 1/2 jar of salsa and chopped up jalapeno.
