i took a variation of this recipe following the same sort of ingrediants. instead of italian dressing i used a vinagrette for the acidity, for added flavor i used green chili sauce, fresh ground chili powder and soy sauce for a depth of flaver. only thing i didn't change was the BBQ sauce. It's all getting happy in the marinade right now.

We really enjoyed this recipe. I did things a little differently however because I forgot I was supposed to marinate them until the last minute! I just used italian seasoning, and sprinkled everything on the chops, brushed on the barbecue sauce and cooked them in the oven. Very tasty!

My pork chops turned out well..my boyfriend liked them more than I did, though. If you use a thinner cut of chop like I did, be careful not to overcook...the sauce doesn't taste good well-done :) I think next time I'll use a bit more BBQ sauce. On the whole, this recipe turned out well! Thank you!

I have to say living with people that are constantly loving what a cook, I honestly took a chance with this recipe and I got RAVE REVIEWS!!!!!!!!!! I used something a little different. I can't stand anything spicy so to alternate I decided to use a little bit of steak seasoning, I used real peppercorn seasoning and sea salt I marinated the pork chops for one hour and after the "boiling process" I used a little extra minutes (unless you like the inside to be pink). The recipe is delicious will make the pork tender and as my testers put it " savory"! Excellent! Juicy and tasty this recipe should be on everyone's top list...so easy and people will think you should be a culinary artist! I felt so appreciated..I definitely recommend it!

Really good recipe. I used about half the chili powder and caesar italian dressing. My husband and son thought it was great.

Very, very good. I had six center cut chops, the typical kind from the supermarket. I increased the marinate to 3/4 cup each dressing and BBQ sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's), and kept the chili powder at the recipe level. I put the chops and all but 1/2 cup of the marinate in a plastic bag, and refrigerated them for about 6 hours, turning them over 3 times. I used a wok to brown and finish them. Browning was about 4 minutes per side. I stacked them all in the wok after browning, and poured on the extra marinate. It wasn't quite enough, so I make another 3/4 cup, but left out the chili powder this go-round. I let it simmer about 30 minutes. They weren't dry at all, and the sauce was exceptional. Definitely a keeper.

Loved it! I used Sweet&Zesty BBQ sauce with Zesty Italian Dressing and I wish there had been leftovers! I used a full cup of sauce as marinade and then made an additional 2/3 cup to cook with since I used large chops.

The flavor of this marinade was delicous. The only thing I did different was simmer for about 45 min.
