This was so yummy. I didn't have a whole bird on hand, so I use 3 frozen leg quarters and 2 frozen breasts. Placed them in the crockpot on low all day, then de-boned and shredded and prepared as directed from there. So easy and grandsons ate like 4 helpings!!

My husband loves this dinner. I make it at least twice a month. I added a few of my own spices, but otherwise never changed anything. Thanks for a great recipe.

For such a simple recipe, this is delicious! I started making this exact recipe (no changes) about 8 months ago. My whole family loves it, and they ask for it time and again.

Not sure what happened here, but mine turned out REALLY soupy. The box of stuffing I had was only 6oz (not 8) and I didn't have any evaporated milk, so I used whole milk instead. The combination of those things must have made this recipie not work at all. I think one can of soup an no milk would have been plenty for this recipe.

I doubled this recipie for my 3 big eaters and doubled the condensed milk and added canned peas on top of the chicken meat for a vegitable. I also added 3 cups of motzerella shredded cheese the last 15 min of baking time... the results were wonderful! I will deffenately be making this again!

This was okay taste-wise. It was very easy to make, but it was too salty for my taste. The husband liked it, but I don't think it will be on his list of meals to ask for.

Really good and quick to prepare. Followed ingredients exactly but assembly a little different. Cut chicken up in bite-size pieces and mixed in the stuffing mix then baked in casserole dish. Baked as directed then froze half for a later meal. Will make again.

Delicious! Reminded me of when I was a kid. I used cream of chicken and cream of mushroom soups, as I didn't have any cream of celery. I used chicken breasts, and I also added some sour cream. Will definitely make again.

MMM. This is the best ever! The first time I tryed this recipe I used white meat. And it tastes REALLY good. But then the second time I added in pieces of left over meat from a chicken that was bought but it didn't taste the same...So I would say just stick with chicken breasts. But don't cut out any liquid, if anything add a little more liquid. Thanks for the delicious recipe!

This recipe is so quick and easy! I did make the following changes, but it turned out delicious anyway! Instead of a whole chicken I only had two very large chicken breasts (maybe close to 2lbs of meat). I boiled them and then I added about 2 cups of frozen green beans (thawed) to make up the difference. I also used 1 cup of buttermilk instead of evaporated milk - REALLY good substitution - LOTS of flavor from it. Everything turned out great and it was like all major food groups in one! Tasty :)

This was very good. I used chicken breasts b/c I like only white meat. I did add a little more stuffing after reading other reviews. I used 1&1/2 bags of stove top (about 10 oz.) and probably could have used the other half of the second bag. I also used chicken broth. We ate broccoli on the side, but may try onion/celery/carrots mixed in the casserole next time. Thanks for the recipe...my family enjoyed it.

This tasted pretty good the first time but is pretty unhealthy. It didn't make very good leftovers. The saltiness became overpowering, even though I used low-sodium soups. We didn't eat the leftovers. Maybe a low-sodium stuffing mix would have helped.

Very good recipe. My husband doesn't like stuffing, so I wanted something just for myself with leftovers and gave this a try. It was wonderful. I halved the recipe, used about 1 lb of chicken tenders and one can of cream of celery soup, and it gave this a wonderful flavor. I also added diced carrots, which I will pre-cook next time since they were still crunchy. I may add some grated garlic next time. There are endless possibilities with this recipe - thanks so much for posting!

Very good and so easy. I think it took longer to open the soup than put the whole thing together. I used left over turkey. Other than that, I didn't change a thing. I think it was a little salty. I was fine for me but I will probably try the low sodium soups next time.
