Really flavorful! I added some red wine to the mushrooms (I always love the flavor I get from adding wine). The chicken was still moist in the inside. I will definitely use this recipe again!

This is a nice straightforward chicken dish. I made the following modifications: (1) instead of using water and bullion cubes, I used chicken stock and I only used about 3/4 cup; (2) I omitted the cornstarch because I didn't really need it; (3) Instead of canned mushrooms, I used fresh chopped crimini and white mushrooms; (4) Instead of vegetable oil, I used olive oil; (5) I used fresh parsley instead of dried parsley; (6) Instead of just a flour mixture, I dipped the chicken in a mix of a little flour, poultry seasoning, pepper, salt, and garlic powder. It was nice, pretty easy. Not amazing but good.

This was simple and very tasty! Everyone enjoyed! I changed it a tiny bit after reading reviews. (Used chicken stock, heavily seasoned the flour and added chopped onion.)

This was so yummy! Next time i think i will double the sauce and mushrooms! I made this with fresh mushrooms. We had this with mashed potatoes and steamed green beans.

Delicious....I just cooked this and its great. Nearly followed the recipe exactly (I omitted the flour, used fresh mushrooms, added one clove of garlic and some onion)and its perfection; will serve over brown rice.

This was an excellent dish! I too substituted the water & bouillon for 1 cup of chicken broth and used about 5 fresh mushrooms rather than canned and it was FANTASTIC! I will definitely make this one again.

We love this dish, nice presentation with only a small effort. I do increase the corn starch by one teaspoon to make the "gravy" thicker.

This is great! I make this at least once a week for dinner. I make some rice and broccoli to go with it and it makes a great dinner that's only 500 calories total.

Pretty good recipe. I made it the first time as written then the second time with my changes. I used chicken broth instead of the boullion/water mix and I used fresh minced garlic (about 4 cloves) and fresh mushrooms. Both times I served with mashed potatoes. I will make it again.

I prepared this dish following the original recipe last night, and my husband and I both agreed that it lacked a lot of flavor. One of our favorite recipes is chicken marsala, which is similar, but the mushroom sauce is made with white wine and lemon juice. This marsala has MUCH more flavor, and so I think we were disappointed in the outcome of this recipe. I'm sure you can doctor up the sauce in many different ways, but I would just prefer to make Chicken Marsala instead!

hummm...i don't get it, this was bland and boring. i want to say something good about it, but.... i pounded the chicken to make sure it was tender...and it was. i did not have parsley, but would really make it that much better? it was just a bland sauce with mushrooms...mixed with chicken.
