Absolutely fabulous! I made the chili as directed (use HOT salsa, though) and made available (brown) rice, chopped onion and shredded cheese as "toppings." I also warmed tortillas; most of my company ended up using the tortillas as "pockets" to put the chili into. Absolutely WONDERFUL!

I thought this was ready good and fairly easy to put together. I cooked the chicken in the crockpot on high for an hour and a half and then on low for a couple hours. I added 1/2 cup of chicken broth to the chicken/salsa mix as well as two TBS. of minced garlic. I doubled the corn, used 1 can each of black and pinto beans and put in a can of diced tomatoes. It was great served with shredded cheese and sour cream on top.

this stuff is awesome!!! i actually just made it a few weeks ago--in the middle of summer! i don't change anything in the recipe. the only minor thing is that i wish it wasn't so salty, especially because i scoop up the chili with tortilla chips!

This was a good recipe. The only difference that I made from the original recipe was that I added one can of chopped green chiles. The only thing is that I wish that it was a little more "soupy."

This was a great recipe! I used boneless skinless chicken thighs which shredded so easily after 6 hours. I used a can of mixed beans because that is all I had, and I added a large can of diced tomatoes (I really think it needs this). It turned out great! I will definately make this again!

I love this recipe. I don't cook the chicken overnight though. I just start it the morning we want it for dinner. I've made it several times but liked it the most with an extra can of mexicorn and a can of rotel. I also add about half a cup of water to the salsa/chicken.

This is my go to recipe when I have a busy day. And my family LOVES it! I have used frozen chicken breasts and regular frozen corn, and increased the amount of the seasonings. We like things spicy. I also add black beans. Even with the frozen chicken breasts I have cooked this on high for 4-5 hours and had it ready for dinner.

This recipe was extremely disappointing. I added fresh garlic, bought a great salsa, used black beans (two 16 ounce cans), 3/4 cup chicken broth, and diced tomatoes. I thought I had followed must of the improvement tips of others. I thought this chili was bland and boring at best. No one in my family liked it and there has been a huge fight over who HAS to eat the leftovers. No one wants it. I will go back to making my beef chili recipe from weight watchers which is 300 times better!

Once again, I love AllRecipes.com for saving my skin: type in "chicken" and "salsa" in ingredient search, use the 'soup' category, and shazam! Here's this recipe. And you can't beat it for simplicity! Based on other reviews I used a taco seasoning packet (actually, a recipe for one off this website) and a can of tomatoes. It was very thick once the chicken was shredded (EASY after those 8 hours!) and the corn/beans were added. I needed a soup insead of the thick stew since I was feeding a crowd, so I added a qt. of chicken stock (the organic range chicken kind from Cosco). I think it would have tasted better to meld the tastes longer with the stock before eating, as both my husband and I thought it was just "ok", but I wouldn't say anything was "missing", there was definitely good flavor that was waiting to come out. However, everyone else loved it. So I'll definitely do it again, and would like to make it as written to use it in tortilla shells. This recipe makes my list of ones to keep!

This was very easy and quite good. I don't have the time/patience for starting cooking the night before and all into the next day. So I turned the slow cooker to high for about 3 hours before shredding, then cooked it on low another 2 hours. I would highly recommend adding a little broth - about 1/2 cup - to keep it from being too dry. I also highly recommend sour cream and FRESH cilantro to made it extra yummy. Don't use dry cilantro flakes, it just doesn't do the job.

This is such a good recipe!! I have never made this in the slow cooker, I always make this on the stove. I can whip this together in no time and it is so tasty! I follow the recipes ingredients, except I add black beans instead of pinto beans. This is a recipe to keep in your files. Soo good and soo easy!! My kids like this too. What kid doesn't like chicken and corn?

So good you'd never know it was so easy! Be sure that you pick a good salsa to use. I usually have all the ingredients on hand since I usually have a bag of frozen chicken breasts so it's a good "go to" meal when I don't know what else to make. Leftovers make great burritos or quesidillas.

I made this last night and it was VERY good. I'm not sure what I did differently, but it only took 4 hours on low, and there wasn't that much liquid in it by the time it was done. (Maybe it's my crockpot?) Next time I'll try adding a can of tomatoes and maybe an envelope of taco seasoning or more chili powder for a little more spice. Update: I just made this again and added 1 can of tomatoes with green chilis and increased the spices. It was a solid 5!!!

My husband loved it enough to eat 3 nights in a row without complaint! I added a whole vidalia onion, a red pepper, some shredded carrots, and used black beans. We served it over brown rice with cheddar cheese on top. Great! Would be good served in a toasted tortilla "bowl".
