Really good recipe as is. Also adaptable to taste. I kept the raw meat and veggies separate. Use what ever veggies you have and like. I let the kiddos choose their own kabobs items. Great way to get them to eat their veggies. Thanks for the post!

I skipped the green onions and pineapple, as I'm not a big fan. These kabobs were still fantastic!! I also wrapped some steak with the bacon and the taste was incredible. All of my guests were very impressed, so thanks for a great recipe!

Mmmmmm! WOW! Excellent recipe! Thank you so much! I added minced garlic & marinated overnight. I used red peppers, onions, chicken & baby bella mushrooms. I didn't have enough bacon to wrap the chicken, but you don't need to. I attached a piece to one side of chicken on skewer & definately microwave bacon for 2 minutes before skewering. Will make again & again!

So good! I added zucchini and bell peppers to the skewers and served the pineapple on the side. I skewered some chicken without bacon, but next time I will use bacon on all the chicken. My husband doesn't care for bacon but he even liked them better with it. I used four breasts and doubled the sauce. Wonderful!

So I didn't exactly follow the recipe. My mom made us kabobs growing up and we always used stew steak, mushrooms, green peppers, onion and cherry tomatoes. I loved the idea of bacon rolled chicken so we rolled half of the mushrooms and half of the beef. Excellent!!

Great as is. But next time I will try whole mushrooms, fresh pineapple. Lower heat on the grill as these charred a little.

These were absolutely AWESOME! I think next time I will marinate for a bit longer (only marintated for 2 hrs..guests were arriving soon) and add a bit of grated garlic. Everyone at our party asked me for the recipe! Thanks!

Fantastic! Yumo. Will definately make again. We used boneless skinless turkey as that is what we had. We may put red onion or peppers on the skewers next as well.

A M A Z I N G!!!!! my husband was eating them off the grill before they even made it inside! i had all of the ingredience on hand except for the bacon - and i didn't feel like making a trip to the store. so, i just made them w/o the bacon - and they were WONDERFUL! fresh pineapple is a MUST. i also marinated the chicken for all afternoon! can't wait to try them next time with the bacon! *****EDIT***** made them with regular bacon this time. found the veggies to cook a lot faster than the chicken/bacon - to the point where most of the veggies charred. Next time i will skewer the meat/veggies on diff. skewers - and pre cook the bacon for a few min before wrapping the chicken.

I would suggest putting a bit of the pineapple juice from the can in the marinade. Also separate the marinade used for basting BEFORE you add the raw chicken, reducing contamination.

For taste this is 5 stars, we really enjoyed them. It did seem very labor intense, between skewering them, and then grilling them slowly, so you don't have burnt kabobs. I followed the marinade recipe exactly, I think garlic would be a nice addition to it. I will definately make these again.

My boyfriend is an excellent culinary chef and he just said "This is quite possibly the best meal I've ever had." He gives it an A++ we had another couple over for dinner and after making 12-15 and we ate every last one of them! The only suggestion I would make is to cut some more mushrooms for the chicken. I also added in green bell peppers and white onions like other members suggested! I have a feeling I will be making this on the regular for the rest of the summer!

First time I cooked them too much, second time I cooked them on too low of a heat but they turned out good. - Next time...try something different with the bacon.

The only exception I made to the recipe is that I used turkey bacon. The chicken and mushrooms were very tender and juicy. Nice flavor overall but next time I think I will add a clove or two of garlic to the marinade. Thanks for a great recipe!
