This was alright but a little dryer than I would have liked although I followed all the directions. I will definitely give it another go and see how it turns out with a little tweaking.

I used 8 chicken breasts and eye-balled the seasoning in the bag. I still didn't put in 1/4 cup but it was still a little too much, so I'll do less next time. The cooking method, however, works great to get the seasoning to stick to the chicken under the sauce. I'll definitely do this again - and like others will probably play with it a bit, trying different seasoning and sauces.

I followed the advice of other reviewers and just sprinkled the seasoning over the chicken (I used thighs) and added salt & pepper. It turned out pretty great! My husband and I really enjoyed it.

My fiance and I really enjoyed this dish. I just sprinkled the italian seasoning on rather than using so much and added salt and pepper. We used sweet bbq sauce though and I think it would have been better with a tangy one.

It was very dry and just didn't taste very good. I wouldn't make it again.

This was a different way to make barbecued chicken. My family enjoyed this very much and devoured every morsel. I thought it was okay but I didn't think the Italian seasoning went so well with the smokey hickory barbecue sauce. I didn't dip anything just sprinkled the seasoning over the chicken and the same for the sauce. This was simple and the family enjoyed it. Thanks.

Good simple and super-easy recipe. I used less Italian seasoning. It's a great recipe when you don't have time to marinade the chicken. The kids loved it!

Easy and good - but not terrific. Use less italian seasoning - just sprinkle on top - and bake for a total of 50 min.

My husband loves this recipe and thinks I should make it every week. I think it's too much seasoning and would make it only occasionally but he keeps requesting it... Go figure.

Excellent recipe. I don't measure the ingredients - I just cover the chicken breast with Italian seasoning and then smother with Diana Sauce at the appropriate time. My boyfriend absolutely LOVES this, especially when there is extra barbecue sauce!

I loved this! So good, I JUST got done eating it for dinner. I sprinkled on the Italian seasoning, I also used Garlic powder, Cajun seasoning, and seasoning salt. I basted on the BBQ sauce when it was time. I used Honey Hickory BBQ sauce. My husband and my 1 1/2yr old son also devoured it.

This was very good however I chose to use a Chicken Grill Rub instead of italian seasoning and just sprinkled then pressed into the meat abit instead of putting in a bag. I like the idea of cooking with just seasoning then adding the sauce halfway through.

This is a really good and easy recipe. A nice, flavorful spin on baked chicken. I like it because it's one of those recipes you can just whip up any ole night without thinking.

I used Italian bread crumbs. The taste was not very strong and did not clash with the BBQ sauce. I thought it turned out very well.

I thought there were too many flavors in this recipe, but hubby liked it. I was impressed with how moist the chicken was after so long in the oven!

This was just ok for me but my husband loved it. I only used half of the Italian seasoning,as other reviewers suggested, just did not care for the BBQ sause and Italian seasoning, may try again with even less Italian seasoning. But it was a great idea to bake in two steps. This allowed me to precook the first part, have a walk and still finish our meal at a reasonable time. Will try this again with other recipes.
