This has become the dish we are told to bring to every Superbowl Party, birthday gathering and the like. Changes to the sauces used can make it hotter or more mild depending on the desired heat.

We ate this with a fresh pumpernickel loaf from the bakery. It was delicious, but a bit heavy.

This tasted great and is definitely a keeper. Adjust the heat to your liking with more or less hot sauce, which I do depending on whether it will be served to kids or not. Mine don't like spicy food. I personally like more heat.

I love this recipe, but I too substitute bleu cheese dressing for ranch. It is delicious and always a hit at parties!

Very good. People just kept standing around that dip all night. Couldn't walk away. Mostly men. I guess it's the next best thing to wings themselves! This dip is a hit!

Absolutely delicious. Can also be made with shrimp instead of chicken. I like to serve with celery sticks. Always gets rave reviews.

AMAZING! My new favorite dip ever! I made this for Superbowl and everyone loved it. I used a small bottle of Frank's Buffalo Wing Sauce (maybe 1 1/4 c.) and Marie's Super Blue Cheese dressing instead of ranch. I followed suggestions and omitted the cheddar cheese from the mixture, but sprinkled it on top instead after it baked 10 minutes. Also, another thing I changed that most people wouldn't is I substituted the chicken with diced up Trader Joe's "Chicken-less Chicken Strips" because I'm a vegetarian. only added 1 cup instead of 2. I was the only veg-head at the party and everyone still loved it (yes even carnivorous football boys!). Serve with Fritos and YUM!!

This recipe has a really good rating so I was very surprised when no one at my party liked this dip. It was too tangy (maybe less ranch would be better?) and the orange color was scaring people off.

I used blue cheese dressing vs. ranch - my preference with buffalo wings. Also substituted buffalo wing sauce instead of tradition hot sauce to bring the true wing flavor forward and doubled the amount. The dip got rave reviews and we dipped celery sticks and spread it on Club crackers. Delicious!

Very good dip. However, instead of Franks, I highly recommend Texas Pete's buffalo wing sauce. Tastes so much better!

Very good! After discussing with friends who've made it, this is how we did it: mixed 2 blocks cream cheese, 2/3 cup blue cheese dressing & spread in 15x10 pan, top with more blue cheese; mix 1 cup red hot with 1/2 stick melted butter, mix with shredded rotissiery chicken (all but one breast), spread on top evenly. No extra shredded cheese. YUMMY!!!!!!!!!

I loved this dip. It was super simple to make, and it was a huge hit. This will be one I make often for parties and get togethers! Next time I make this I am going to substitue the ranch dressing with Bleu Cheese dressing. I'll let you know how it turns out. If you like Hot Wings, but don't like the mess, you need to try this recipe!
