This was a good meal- I also used fresh mushrooms sauteed with olive oil garlic and onion. I used 1% milk instead of heavy cream and ww noodles and it seemed to turn out just fine. I did add some parm to the sauce once it was bubbly- probably made it a bit more rich. Topped it off with italian seasoning, bread crumbs and parm.

Kind of bland kids said they didn't like it but would be willing to try it again if I made it differently, not very creamy or rich at all. Will try again with some cream of mushroom any see they like it, thanks for the base recipe

This was OK. Unfortunately my kids wouldn't even try it, but I thought it had a decent taste.

This recipe is amazing! My dad who is a meat and potatos person loved this! It was a big hit in our home. I added the garlic and onion to roux, excellent!! Also, I doubled the sauce to make it more creamy along with using fresh mushrooms. I will make this all the time!!

This was very good just a little to dry for me. I will definetely be making this again but next time I will add more chicken broth and minced garlic. Thank you for a keeper.

It's really very good, but it could stand to have some more chicken broth, otherwise it comes out a bit on the dry side. It was still a huge hit with my family though!

I, like others, used skim instead of heavy cream and added some extra flour. I also used fresh mushrooms and some frozen peas. I also swapped the spaghetti with penne because I was out of spaghetti. It was absolutely delicious!

I've made this recipe a few times, always turns out great! I tend to add more seasoning in any recipe I cook, and this case is no different, I used seasoning salt, a garlic-flavored all-seasoning mixture and a little powdered chicken bouillion when I cook the chicken. Other than that, I pretty much follow the recipe. Today, however, I substitued skim milk for the heavy cream and peas for the mushrooms. Still turned out quite tasty. I usually increase the sauce by about half, so it's never dry. This one is a hit with my family!

Great recipe. My husband & friend liked it a lot. I didnt use mushrooms, used parmesan reggiano, curly noodles and fat free 1/2 & 1/2. Thought it was very tasty & will make again. Thanks for a new addition to my rotation :)

I love making this! My whole family loves it. My dad usually makes like monster plates. The only thing I changed was I used a whole 6.5 oz bag of parmesan cheese because the half cup didn't seem like enough to me.

My husband absolutely loved this. I had to have surgey so I made a few meals ahead of time and this was one of them. My husband is a picky eater so I left out the mushrooms and sherry. I also took the tip of substituting evaporated skim milk instead of heavy cream. I read reviews stated this recipe was bland so before cooking the chicken I put a grilling seasoning on it called Weber Grilling Creations Kickin Chicken. It is kind of spicy but added a great flavor! I also went ahead and mixed the parmesan cheese into the dish. Since I was making this ahead of time to help my husband, I followed all the steps intil the baking. I put the mixture in a large freezer bag and instructed my husband to thaw it out in the morning and bake that evening. It turned out great! It is one of his favorites now.

This was fantastic. I was short on Parmesan cheese, so I topped it with a little bit of a "pizza mix" I had on hand. Definitely will make this again!

Tasty! The sherry makes this dish, so do not omit it! This is kind of like a milder chicken alfredo. A simple easy dish.

This is one of my favorite dishes, and this recipe is close to the one I work from. I use half a store-bought rotisserie chicken, fresh portabello sliced mushrooms (just add to the sauce for a minute or two before boiling), only 2 tbsp of butter and skim milk to reduce the fat content. I also use whole wheat blend spaghetti (Healthy Harvest). My kids love this stuff. But I really think this is more like 5-6 servings even with the calorie reduction -- and we're not tiny people.
