Chicken Stroganoff
SUBMITTED BY:
Phyllis Brittenham
"I concocted this recipe for those evenings when I'm running late and everyone is hungry. Even my finicky 4-year-old asks for seconds. For a no-fuss beef Stroganoff, substitute leftover steak.--Phyllis Brittenham, Garwin, Iowa"

Easy and tasty. Great for a go to night when you just don't feel like putting a lot of thought into dinner.

Decided to bake this in the oven instead of microwave, bad idea. This came out very dry, needs more liquid. But tasted really good, just dry and did not present well. Will make again maybe will add a little chicken stock next time!

Very Good! I substituted Cream of Potato for Mushroom because that's what I had on hand. I also added half a can of water so it wouldn't be so dense.

This is really good. And in a pinch for time, this recipe works very well. I served over rice and just seasoned with salt and pepper. I will make again and have fresh parmesean cheese as well.

I thought this turned out a bit bland. I think the trick is to add lots of your favorite seasonings. I'll add more next time.
