1 (8 ounce) package
red bell pepper, chopped
skinless, boneless chicken breast halves - cooked
2 (10.75 ounce) cans
condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (15 ounce) can
chopped black olives
1 (4 ounce) jar
sliced pimento peppers, drained
1 (4.5 ounce) can
I made this for lunch today since my kids and I are fond of spaghetti. I left out most of the vegetables because they would not have eaten them in spaghetti, and used cream of celery instead of mushroom. I served this over bow tie pasta for a change...(we just had spaghetti noodles the other day) and we really enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing Amy.
After reading other reviews, I was hoping this would turn out better than it did. My family wasn't very impressed with this dish. Sorry, Amy, but I won't make this again.
my family greatly enjoyed this dish. even my picky 14 month old loved it. we used grilled chicken, which added great flavor. very delicious and easy dish.
THIS WAS FANTASTIC!!! I have looked for a long time for the recipe for Chicken Spaghetti and this is exactly what my mother made when I was a child. My family was very skeptical and asked questions while I was cooking; however, when it came time to eat there was very little talking going on! They LOVED it and I will definatly make this many more times in the future! My husband even took some to share with is co-workers and they all wanted the recipe! :) Thanks for Sharing!
I'm rating this only 4 since I had to add some spice to it! Salt and pepper only for taste. I didn't use bell pepper, but did add some diced onion, chopped mushrooms, and freshly minced garlic. I seasoned the chicken with Italian seasoning before grilling. Used angel hair pasta instead of spaghetti. Very filling dish. Could cut in half or freeze half of it as it is a great freezer meal.
I've searched for this exact recipe for over a year. Was given to me by a favorite aunt and fabulous cook. At Pot-Lucks it goes immediately. Family and friends love it. Thank you, Allrecipes and especially, Amy Barthelemy! Gail Cobile.
Loved the recipe, but I will use sliced olives next time.
This was O.K. and would probably try again but with possibly marinated and grilled chicken for more flavor.
