My husband and I loved this. I took other peoples suggestions and used the Pillsbury crescent pastry dough, thyme, garlic, onion powder, salt & pepper spices. This is a keeper, thanks for sharing!

I reduced this recipe for just me and my husband: 2 boneless skinless chicken breast, one can of low-fat cream of chicken soup, a little more than a half cup of milk, 3/4 bag of frozen vegetables and two frozen pie crusts. First I sauted sliced onion and fresh minced garlic with salt for a few minutes until soft. Added the frozen vegetables until warm and then stirred in soup and milk. Added a pinch of cayenne pepper for a kick, and lots of salt and pepper. Poured all into rolled out pie crust and pinched top crust on. Sprayed the top with butter-flavored cooking spray so it browns up. Baked almost an hour. Turned out great!! My picky husband ate it up and we didn't have any leftovers. Would definitely make again with my changes.

So so, save it for when you're really in a hurry, or maybe just cooking for kids. I added garlic, onion, red papper, and it STILL was kind of bland. Also, if I make this again I'll probably just make my own white sauce.

I made some changes - used pre-roasted chicken, used 1 can lowfat cream of chicken and 1 can lowfat cream of mushroom soup as well as some diced parboiled potatoes and frozen peas and carrots. Added some salt and pepper to taste and voila - it was great.

I made two slight changes to the recipe, and the result was described by my roommate as "better than Marie Callender's." I used two boneless skinless chicken breasts (four seemed too much for the shell and just one can of soup), and instead of canned vegetables (so little flavor), I used frozen mixed vegetables. I stirred the frozen veggies in with the soup and cooked chicken, covered with other crust, generously seasoned with salt and pepper, and baked as directed. The result was as delicious as the dish was simple to make. A definite keeper and regular star in my kitchen.

I pretty much follow this recipe, only instead of using the pie crust, I mix together flour, eggs and milk and pour it over the mixture. It bakes up really nice. I also cook the chicken on the stove and season with garlic, salt and pepper to give it a little flavor. Its really good. The canned veggies work much better than frozen, like many other recipes call for. This is a great, quick, super easy recipe to use for weeknight dinners.

I would say this is an average recipe for pot pie. It wasn't spectacular, but then I never was a huge fan of pot pie in the first place. I added 1/2 cup condensed milk to the cream of chicken soup along with 1/8 tsp garlic powder, 1/4 tsp Mrs. Dash Original and a pinch of oregano along with a bit of black pepper. It came out well, and I will probably make it again sometime in the future. It's easy, simple, and good for a cold day.

I made this for dinner last night, with a few minor changes. I used frozen veggies, a can of cream of chicken, and a can of cream of mushroom. I also added some garlic salt, a pinch of herbes de provence, and poultry seasoning. It gave it a great flavor, and my family loved it. I will definitely make it again!

This is a great starter recipe. I did tweak it a bit. I mixed one can of cream of mushroom soup, and one can of cream of chicken soup, both low sodium. I added frozen peas and carrots, and a can of mushrooms. For the topping I crushed about 25 Ritz crackers and mixed them with melted butter. Delicious!! My family devoured it.

WOW!! I used 1 cup diced rotisserie chicken, 1 can of cream-of-chicken soup, 1 bag (16 oz) of frozen mixed veggies, 1/4 cup buttermilk, and 2 refrigerated pie crust. The result was a perfect and delicious 8X8 pie. Thank you for the recipe!!!

This is very good. I followed other suggestions to add both cream of mushroom and cream of chicken soup. I used just one small bag of frozen vegetables and it was still overstuffed! I also used frozen pie crusts in the tins and just overturned one onto the filled pie crust and pinched the sides together and peeled off the top pie tin.

This is a good "basic" recipe. I added salt and pepper (alot of each). I also used 2 cans of cream of chicken soup and we still thought it was a little dry so next time I might add a little milk or chicken broth. I also used a can each of green beans, carrots, and corn. No offense but i don't like using the can that has them all mixed together I think it is lacking. I also used the idea of another reviewer and used basil - that was a great idea. But this was my first chicken pot pie to ever make so I was very impressed.
