This was okay. The chicken was good but I think a homemade marinara sauce would have been best with it. Great as a starter recipe and sure is simple to make.

this was so delicious. I added italian spices/mrs. dash tomato&basil, garlic salt, parsley, basil to the bread crumbs with parmesean cheese. instead of using motzerella I put slices of provolone cheese on chx for the last 20 min. turned out great! just the smell of the chx cooking with the bread crumbs was awesome!!

I'm always looking for recipes for 2 considering I usually only cook for my boyfriend and myself. This was a great find. I have made this many times since first finding it and I always look forward to eating it. For a side dish, I would recommend sticking to vegetables or maybe a small portion of wheat pasta and vegetable in order to have a healthy dinner :-)

just o.k. the coating was just dry, powdery bread crumbs when done. I prefer the crust to be crispier.

I changed a couple of things. I used Italian bread crumbs, Bertolli marinara sauce, and sprinkled Italian seasoning after the cheese was added. A wonderful and easy dish!!!

Excellent! I pounded the chicken a bit and that made it very tender.

I cook this recipe for the first time. My husband said that this recipe is better than the restaurant. We pay $15/per order of chicken parmigiana. I used young chicken breast. Marinated the chicken with egg and italian seasoning for 30 mins. Added some parmesian cheese on the bread crumbs. Used classico marinara sauce. Then follow the rest of the recipe. Coming from an italian family. This is easy and delicious!!!!!

Great recipe. I agree with other reviewers about adding a little more seasoning (garlic, s&p, parmigiano) to the bread crumbs.

This was really good. The only thing I did differently was pour the sauce over the chicken & sprinkle with cheese the last 10 minutes, kept it from being soggy. Yummy :)

Following KC Martel's instructions from the reviews below, I'm turning out restaurant-quality Parmigiana without fail. This is also a great recipe to try with turkey.

Yummy! I also put the last of the sauce on last - just a dollop on before serving the rest I put over penne pasta. I used Italian bread crumbs and added parmesan to them. Very good!

Very Good! It is important to use a good spaghetti sauce when making this recipe. It will make a huge difference. I cooked the breaded chicken 50 minutes as it wasn't crispy enough at 40 minutes like the recipe stated. After I put the chicken in the sauce, I baked it just long enough to melt the cheese, which was about another 10 minutes. I heated the sauce prior to putting it in the baking dish because I was cutting down on the final baking time. The end result was very yummy and I will be making it again.

This is a great basic recipe. I used whole wheat bread crumbs and added extra italian seasonings and garlic to mine and then served it over spaghetti noodles and sauce- delicious! I baked my chicken on a cooling rack inside of a baking pan, but it still wasn't very crispy.

Delicious! I happened to have Italian seasoned bread crumbs so I used that and store brand jar sauce. Everyone loved it! I made extra and (unfortunately for me) there's barely any left!
