What a fantastic recipe. I did add fresh asparagus and about a 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese. I didn't have savory, so I used 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning and 1/2 tsp. thyme. Other than that I followed the recipe as is. My husband and kids raved about this dish. Thanks for such a great recipe Lori. It's definitely a keeper !!!!!!!

Very good casserole.....family enjoyed it. I sauteed the onion, carrot, and celery in evoo, then added the chicken and the garlic. I added salt, pepper, crushed thyme leaves, and poultry seasoning (I had no savory). Once the chicken was browned I added 1c. fat free chicken broth instead of the 14.5 oz. I thought this was just the perfect amount of liquid to cook the chicken through. I think the full amount of broth might have made it to watery as per another reviewer. I had leftover corn, broccoli and peas, which I also threw into the mix. I added the cheese sauce and the noodles. Perfect consistency. Sprinkled extra cheddar on top and baked. Really yummy, kind of tasted like chicken pot pie w/o the crust. Will make again. Thanks!

Definite comfort food. I have made this a few times now and always change up the veggies that I put in. My soon to be husband (2 wks!) asks for me to make this all the time. Definitely a keeper!

This recipe was great, but missing more seasoning. I added more garlic, all season and pepper to give it a little more. I also added a can of peas which the family loved. I did not have a problem with the amount of liquid as some others have. Overall, a good comforting dish.

This casserole came out delicious. I thought the broth and chicken mixture was too much liquid, but after I blended it with the bernaise sauce and baked, it was nice and moist. I didn't cook the chicken mixture the full 15 minutes, more like 10, and I sprinkled parmesan cheese on top before baking. Not a particularly quick recipe, but the flavor was worth the extra prep time.

This was very bland. I was expecting more out of it after the amount of work that went into making it. A lot of reviewers mentioned the cheesy taste and if I hadn't been the one to cook it, I'd never have known there was cheese in it at all.

My husband and son loved this, but I didn't think it was all that special. Especially since it took a while to put together and dirtied a lot a pans.

One of my favorites!! We added some more veggies (peas especially! yum) and some crunched-up goldfish on top for some added texture. Delicious!

This was so yummy! Very easy comfort food. I would not put nearly as much chicken broth next time. I had to scoop some out because it was just too liquidy. I also added a layer of cheese on top then a layer of crushed up Ritz crackers. It was great and so easy.

This was great! I have never heard my toddler ask for "more," and after this meal we finally heard it! :o) I was a little worried about the mess after reading these posts, but it really wasn't too bad! I used a rotisserie chicken and the family agreed it made the dish! Thanks for the recipe!

Great Tasting Recipe. I substituted a large can of chicken and used chicken soup base instead of broth. Tasted just like Grandma's chicken noodle soup. The kids liked this one.

This is a great recipe! I boiled the chicken then shredded it to make the texture a little different. I also used chicken soup base instead of chicken stock this gave the dish a more rich flavor. I will definitly make this again.

It has a great flavor, just rated it a 4 because a lot of work goes into it. I added 2 cloves of garlic instead of 1, added fresh thyme, and extra cheese. I also didn't bake it, just because my kids were getting anxious and it was already hot enough. My picky eaters loved it. I will definitely make it again, just not often. I dirty way too many dishes.

This was a good dish but I'm not sure it's worth the time and effort. By the time you cook the chicken separately, cook the noodles separately, and do what you have to do with the vegetables and sauce, it took quite a bit of time...and then you still have to throw it in the oven. A good comfort food dish but make sure you have the time.

I really enjoyed this casserole, but my family gave it mixed reviews. I did find it to be too soupy. If I make it again, I will either cut back on the chicken broth or use fine egg noodles and add them uncooked, so that they can absorb the extra liquid.
