Very good dish for dinner. I doubled the egg noodles and only used half the chicken stock. Didn't have savory so I used a lil' of this and that...onion powder, S&P, minced garlic, and a lil poultry seasoning. Instead of clerey and carrots I used a frozen bag of mixed veggies and the dish came out great and will definately make again. Didn't take too long but does require a few pots and pans to get dirty. Thanks for a keeper of a recipe.

Way too much work! I thought this recipe was going to be quick and easy. It was not. It took way longer than the 35 minutes that it said it took to prepare. I probably spent that amount of time just getting all of the ingredients ready to start cooking. I won't make this one again. The casserole itself was bland in my opinion. What a disappointment!

This one's a keeper for us.Although I made a few changes, partly by accident. I used "Country Pasta homemade style egg noodles" and just eyeballed it. Then I forgot to add the broth before adding the milk/sauce so I added about 1/2 a can and let that simmer with the milk/sauce and chicken and veggies. I didn't use any oil to cook the chicken cause I like the caramelizing flavor when the chicken crisps on the pan. And I don't think I used as much cheese as called for, we're not major cheese fans. Also, I think the addition of peas would be really tasty as someone mentioned.

Five stars for taste but one star for "quick" equals 3 overall. Any recipe with slicing and dicing and this many ingredients shouldn't be described as "quick."

I just made this tonight and it was delicious! I didn't know what savory was so I added garlic salt with oregano instead. The only complaint was the texture of the sauce, it was a little grainy. Maybe I'll try corn starch to thicken the sauce next time. Overall, it was a very tasty. It's definitely one of my favorites!

Wonderful comfort food and very easy to adapt for my gluten free daughter. Kids gave it 2 thumbs up. I had no idea what savory was so I did as someone else suggested and used poultry seasoning. I also only had 3/4 cup of cheese on hand and the sauce still tasted wonderfully. I used brown rice spiral pasta and I used a rice/tapioca/potato starch flour blend for the sauce. I also sprinkled gluten free bread crumbs over the top before baking which gave it a nice, crunchy topping. This one is definitely a keeper.

Great recipe.. my husband raved about it! The only problem I had is it was pretty juicy even though I let it sit for awhile after taking it out of the oven? I think next time I might add less broth. I added Thyme with the Savory and it was delicious! Also substituted peas instead of celery. We will definably make this again

The flavors are delicious!!! I didn't have any problems with the dish being bland, since my homemade chicken stock had a lot of flavor. I also used salted butter and olive oil to cook with. I used sage instead of savory, since I didn't have any savory. I also topped the dish off with some butter and garlic croutons in the oven. The only thing that concerned me is the soupy consistency. I felt like it came out it a bit too runny (had I known, I would have skipped the baking altogether). I may play around with it next time and see if I can't get it to hold better. Other than that, thanks for the awesome recipe! My family is devouring the dish as I type!

My kids and husband loved this dishe. The casserole was slightly bland for my taste. I used Italian seasoning in place of the savory and will use more next time with a little more salt. From beginning to end took me a little over an hour but was worth the time as there is enought leftover for another meal.

It was a hit! My wife loved it, and she's picky with her chicken dishes. I too didn't have any savory, so I mixed in some thyme and bay leaves. The casserole was a bit liquidy, but the liquid that remained was super tasty! :-)

This was good. I didn't have savory but love basil so I substituted with that. My 16 year old son looked at it and was hesitant to try it...not a big casarole guy. I told him it was this or nothing and he just came back for seconds. I guess it wasn't so bad! I used 1% milk and it worked well.

This was excellent. Total comfort food. I added a bag of frozen mixed veggies instead of the carrots and celery, and it worked just fine. The whole family loved it.

I did not care for the cheese and the Savory together. I tasted the sauce before adding the cheese, it was a nice cream sauce and the savory added a nice "something". So I am rating it on the sauce before adding the cheese. I will leave out the cheese or try a milder cheese like a mozzarella next time. The cream sauce before the cheese is lovely.

I didn't have savory so simply omitted it all together. The recipe was still very tasty! My family cleaned their plates and leftovers didn't stay around. I absolutely love the fact that this casserole recipe didn't use any canned soup! I'm not a big fan of the taste repetition in casseroles when they are all basically made with the same canned soups...boring. Next time I make this I'll try the savory...and maybe some parseley as well!

This recipe was just ok for the amount of pans you use. Definately needs some tweaking.
