Made this for dinner really, really good- few changes:* cooked chicken with whole onion, bay leaf, chicken soup stock and italian seasioning. * Cut butter in 1/2. *sauted some onion, celery and garlic and threw it into the mix. Mixed together crackers, durkee french onions, and crakers for the topping - really good. Thanks for a great receipe

Very good meal in one! I added frozen corn and peas to complete the 4-food group. Also, minced half of a small onion for extra flavor. Super fast and easy weeknight meal.

This is a quick and easy casserole. I think I will add it to my list of comfort foods! I sauteed some chopped onion and celery until tender and stirred in before baking. I also added frozen peas & carrots before baking. I probably won't make it often but it was tasty. I will try cutting way back on the butter next time I make it.

This is a simple tasty weeknight dinner. Basically the same as the tuna casserole my mom used to make, but it's a nice change with chicken. I added a few splashes of white wine and used panko bread crumbs instead of crackers. I think it would be great with some cheese and brocoli added in too.

Sorry, this was not something I would make again. It was too creamy, I felt like I was eating straight cream cheese. Although I added veggies and cheese, it was still bland. I wish this could have worked out for our family.

This was ok but if I make it again I will be adding a few extra spices. In the future I would also use the low fat low sodium soup.

I made this tonight for my fiance, his mother, and his grandmother. It turned out really well and 2 out of the 3 of them went back for seconds! In the future I will probably shred the chicken rather than cubing it and will use A LOT less topping.

It is a good base to add onto with other stuff such as veggies and spices. In my opinion it tastes better with tuna.

Very tasty. But can also be very bland as originally written. I suggest adding garlic and red pepper flakes, as well as introcing vegetables such as sauteed mushrooms and onions, red bell pepper and corn into recipe. Overall, very tasty.

The only things I did differently were to cook the chicken in the skillet with Lawry's and garlic powder. I also added a little bit of French's onions to my chopper when I was crunching up the crackers. I sprinkled a little bit of cheese on top of the chicken mixture before topping with the buttery cracker mix. My husband and daughters absolutely loved it! It was a big hit at our house and I am sure we will keep this one around! Thanks for a simple and delicious recipe!!!

This was so good!! The only thing I did different was bake the chicken and then shred it. I also used frozed egg noodles because those are the only kind I like. I decided to make the healthier version by using low fat soups and fat free sour cream. As soon as my husband took a bite he said, "this is a keeper".

I've made this several times now and it always turns out great. I don't even really make any changes to it, just cook it as is and never have had a failure. Hubby loves it and always goes back for seconds, and it makes enough for us to have plenty of leftovers for lunches. This one has made it into our regular rotation.

I live in India and sometimes have to make adjustments. I used yogurt instead of sour cream and it turned out wonderful! (I am able to get canned soup at a cost, but sour cream is not something readily available.) I also agree this is just as good if not better reheated the next day. THANK YOU!!!!!

I made the lower fat version and it was delish! I used whole wheat egg noodles, reduced fat cream of mushroom and reduced fat sour cream. I did read the reviews and added salt and pepper to the chicken and I actually sauteed half of a chopped onion and threw in some garlic and spinach at the very end. I mixed it in with everything else and topped it off with about 1/2 of the ritz crackers and butter. This will feed my family x 2 days! Will be adding this to my recipes.

This was really good. The only change I made was to season the chicken with onion powder and garlic salt and then brown it in a skillet with butter. The kids had seconds and thirds! However, not for those of us watching our weight!!!

I normally steer clear of canned soup recipes because I find the flavor tinny, but I made this in a pinch and found it surprisingly good. Even my kids, who don't normally like their food mixed together casserole style, loved this, especially the topping. I used cream of celery & cream of mushroom because that was what I had, heated them together with the other ingredients on the stove before throwing in the oven, and it was easy and good.
