I added broccoli to this but kept everything else the same but we weren't big fans.

If you are a busy parent and want to make a yummy meal for a fussy child, this is an easy recipe. My son quickly picked up on the cream of mushroom soup. The next time I made it I used two cans of cream of chicke, added celery salt, onion powder and poultry seasoning. The buttered ritz crackers on top are a big hit.

Good way to use up leftover rotisserie chicken. Tastes just like chicken with pasta but nothing super spectacular. Real quick preparation.

Used leftover chicken from a roaster I did the night before- probably good with leftover turkey as well...I used more like 10 oz whole wheat noodles, and it was plenty moist. I also added a tablespoon of dried minced onion, and about 1.5 teaspoons of cajun seasoning. We are not cracker fans, so I sprinkled with seasoned bread crumbs and a bit of parmesan cheese (next time I will leave out the cheese- it just wasn't quite right- maybe cheddar?)- all-in-all, a solid recipe liked by my whole family, will do again.

It was okay ... not spectacular, by any means ... I did add a bit of garlic and onion powder, as so many reviewers suggested ... basically, it was filling, edible, but no fireworks ... thanks!

This recipe is so easy and it tastes sooooo good. I add about 1/2 tablespoon of Mrs. Dash to the water when poaching the chicken and I leave it in for the egg noodles and it just adds that something something to it. This one has been a hit with the hubby (a man who knows what he likes) since day one.

Very Creamy and a true comfort food. I put cream of celery instead of chicken and it tasted great. I took the other reviewers advice and added garlic powder and onion powder it gave it a good flavor.

My husband gave this an A++! Thanks for such a cozy recipe! After reading the reviews I did add seasonings, sauteed onions, and a bag of frozen peas and/or carrots to give it a boost. I added a bay leaf to the cooking water (not sure if this really does anything or not), and sprinkled poultry seasoning on the cooked chicken. To the soup mixture I added onion powder and garlic powder. Long story short, this is a new cold weather, tension-easing favorite for us. =)

I'm not a fan of chicken so for me it was only ok. The 4 star rating is because my husband liked it. I used a left over rotisary chicken rather than plan breasts. I think it would have been a little too bland otherwise. I also added some peas and carrots. I'm sure it will be a repeat recipe. Thanks

This Casserole was pretty good. I used double the egg noodles (whole wheat) and I cut up the chicken and cooked it in a skillet with 8oz of sliced mushrooms and an onion. I also added a can of cream of celery soup and 2 cups of defrosted frozen broccoli. I seasoned the whole thing with Emeril's essence (as common as s&p in our house. Before puting it in the casserole dish I added a bag of shredded cheddar to the mix. We chose not to do the crackers on top since we don't care for them much. Baked at 350 for 45 minutes. Overall I thought it was pretty good and very easy. My husband loved it.

Very Yummy and easy. I added half a bag of thawed mixed veggies and some additional seasoning (thyme, onion, garlic). Was a big hit with hubby. I may add more cracker topping next time.

I read several pages of reviews before I tried this recipe. Taking the advise of many, I added onion, celery, mushrooms and cheese. The recipe was a disappointment. Given the opportunity of taking left over chicken casserole in my husbands lunch or cold bologna..he chose the bologna. This is not a keeper at my house.

Excellent-this is a favorite recipe at our house for kids and adults. The only change I make is adding a little garlic and black pepper and a sprinkling of cheddar cheese before I add the cracker layer.
