Really nice flavour and super easy! I think I may try it with veal next time...thanks for the recipe! I always thought a marsala dish would be difficult but it tastes and smells just like it does at my favourite Italian restaurant!

I doubled the sherry and marsala like others suggested, then added a splash of cream and some cornstarch to make a sauce after removing the chicken. The mushrooms tasted like they had soaked up all the alcohol. Next time, I think I will saute the mushrooms for a while before adding the marsala wine and sherry. I will try this again though!!!

This was my first attempt at making marsala, and it came out perfect. It tasted better than any marsala I've had at a restaurant. I changed only a few things. First, I added garlic to the butter and olive oil. Once I browned the chicken, I removed it and set it aside. I then added probably 4 cups of freshly sliced mushrooms to the butter/oil. As the mushrooms were simmering I added a little over a cup of marsala wine. I didn't use any sherry. I then added a full can of chicken broth and about a cup of heavy cream. I seasoned the sauce with garlic salt and pepper. Then I added the chicken back to the pan and let everything simmer for about 10 minutes. The sauce was the perfect consistency - not too thick and not too thin. I then served the whole dish over angel hair. There was plenty of sauce to go around - plus enough leftover to serve with the leftover chicken the next day. This will definitely be a staple dinner in my house!

I added heavy cream and it turned out great. I like the coating for the chicken but i think next time i will use less oil and butter. Half would have been enough.

Delicious and easy--I bake it for about 15 mins on 350 to thicken it up a bit-I make it all of the time and love it each time!

DELICIOUS! I did add a slurry at the end, to thicken up the sauce. The combination of sherry and sweet marsala wines is wonderful! I added garlic & onions to the oil/butter, prior to browning the chicken. Do what you like, it's a great recipe!!

This was perfect.. I did use 2 cups of mushrooms and sauted them in butter with a half an onion and 2 cloves of garlic. I made with side of red baby roasted potatoes and sauted string beans..YUM!

Followed recipe as noted, stayed with the sherry and marsala, but did add garlic at the chicken browning, and chopped onions with the mushrooms. The flavor is great, sauce thickened up fine without adding additional ingredients. But I made sure the chicken was fully coated with the flour mixture. Really like the flavor!

My husband made this recipe tonight and it was okay. We would have left out the Sherry all together and replaced it with more Marsala. Also the sauce was a bit thin.

AWESOME!! I added a 1/2 cup chicken broth and 1/4 cup milk, and the sauce was perfect. My father-in-law, who puts hot sauce on everything, told me he didn't want to ruin the flavor with it! Very easy to make, and restaurant quality. THANKS!!
