"My neighbor made this for a picnic forever ago, and it is super easy to make. Easy to change it your own liking. Sometimes the onions can be too strong, so you may want to test before adding too many." — Tara Duer

1 2/3 cups
1 (5 ounce) package
long grain and wild rice mix (such as Mahatma®)
cooked chicken breast halves, chopped
red onion, chopped, or to taste
1 1/2 cups
seedless red grapes, quartered
While this is great as is, to change the flavor and color up a little, add a few drops of liquid smoke to the dressing and use blueberries instead of grapes.
It seemed a litle blah to me. Wondering if it could be because I used salad dressing instead of mayonaise. I tried adding salt to the finihed product but still feel like it needed a little zing.
