I didn't have potato flakes so that might have affected the final crust. Overall, it was very juicy, but the flavor was lacking.

This recipe was SO good!!! I used 3 chicken breast, cut into strips and needed 2 eggs instead of just one. I also didn't have any potato flakes, but it still turned out fantastic! Absolutely delicious! Thank you for sharing!

I used Ritz crackers instead of the saltines. and Old Bay seasoning for the poultry seasoning. This time it came out a bit salty. Next time I'll add no salt and see how it goes. All in all a great recipe!

The only thing I added was more seasoning (Mrs. Dash). I had to use more oil than specified because it wasn't enough to fry the chicken. I also had pounded out the chicken breasts beforehand to cook more evenly (and because I don't like thick chicken breasts). I liked the coating a lot, in both taste and appearance. Note: It would be nice if the author would include a link to the gravy recipe he/she uses.

This was fantastic! Next time, I'll season the chicken before I dredge it in seasoned flour, then dip it in the eggs, and finally the cracker-crumb mixturre. I browned them about 6 minutes on each side; then baked them at 350 for about 18 minutes! Wonderful method - so crispy! I may even try the cracker-crumb mixture on boneless pork chops! Definitely a keeper!
