Heating directions were way off, I even pulled my first batch early and it was still burnt. It's okay but I will probable not go to all the trouble again for a mediocre fried chicken

I had family over tonight and I decided to try this out on them. I did one thing differently. I personally enjoy marinades, I put my chicken legs in a large zip bag and dumped a bottle of "KC Masterpiece" Zesty Lemon Pepper in there. They marinaded overnight in the fridge. The meat itself was really yummy but this breading recipe is what made it. My family loved it! My sister in law even had me write out a copy of this to take home :D Thanks for sharing!!

Best I have ever had! TENDER and Juicy! I used Club crackers because I didn't have Saltines. And I added some chili powder cause my family loves spicy! VERY good recipe!

This is excellent. I keep trying to find new chicken recipes because our house is so sick of chicken and this recipe is wonderful. It gives the chicken a nice flavor and isn't the same old same old.

Loved this fried chicken recipe! Adjusted the recipe for 3 and it worked great for 2 chicken breasts. Used Lawry's seasoned salt and threw in a dash of garlic powder. Breading was not only nice and crispy, it stuck well to the chicken! Bravo!

Pretty good, I would have to say! I used boneless breast cut in half. My oldest son thought I had made jumbo chicken nuggets, which I guess that was about what they were. I gave him the bottle of BBQ sauce and he was in heaven. Thanks for the recipe!

Yummy! Used this recipe for chicken strips. I dipped in flour, then egg, then cracker mix. Make sure to add extra seasoned salt and pepper. I also added garlic salt and paprika. Had no problem with this coating sticking to the chicken. Juicy and delicious.

WOW! This was amazing. This recipe is easy and it will not disappoint you. I've been trying recipe after recipe to find a home made chicken tenders recipe that I like. I love tenders dipped in honey, but when I go out to a restaurant for them the sodium levels are so high somebody like me who is watching their sodium intake due to blood pressure runs into many problems. With this recipe I was able to control the sodium by using low sodium saltines and a sodium free seasoning mixture and still spoil myself with some outstanding tenders. I can't get over how tasty and crispy these were. I'm wondering--- can anybody tell me how long would I deep fry the pieces if I choose to make bone in fried chicken with this breading? Thank you so much CASSJW for an outstanding recipe. I will make it often.

Everyone seems to like them. The second time I made them they were a little bit bigger sizes, and it took longer to cook, so the outside was a little too burnt. And even then everyone liked them. I suggest turning down the temperature to cook them if you are using larger chicken peices.

I thought this was good..I did not make any changes, but my family agreed that they like my fried chicken better. It didn't have much flavor for some reason.

Finally a fried chicken recipe that I love. I actually reduce the heat to medium low once I brown them on both sided and cook for about 17 minutes. PERFECT!!!

This recipe is FANTASTIC. I use boneless skinless chicken breast strips. On my stove I can't bring the oil heat up as much as the recipe calls for or the coating burns, so I just set my heat a little lower. I use a little more oil than it calls for as well. All 4 of my kids and my husband and I ALL love this recipe! And the kids love crunching up the crackers for me! This is really the tastiest coating we have ever tried!

Just not a winner to us. Our eight year old daughter liked it, but too bland and boring to the rest of us. Much better recipes out there.

This is a fantastic recipe and very easy to make. My family is too picky but they loved it. My husband said it was the best chicken he had ever had! He said it even tasted better than his Aunt that was known for her fried chicken. It's even great heated back up.
