My husband told me that this chicken is the best he has ever had. I dipped the chicken in flour first, then the egg, then the seasoning. It is amazing!

Yum! I followed this recipe exactly, except for dipping in flour mix, egg, then flour mix again as suggested by another reviewer. Cooked according to directions and it was crispy on the outside, juicy and tender on the inside, with great flavor. I used a cast iron skillet and drained the grease after removing the chicken and most of the "crispies", heated skillet on high, stirred in some flour, then added milk, salt & pepper, and reduced heat to make a yummy white gravy. I'll use this recipe again & again!

Very nice recipe! I dredged the chicken in a flour/seasoning salt mixture before the egg and the saltines. Also opted to use garlic mashed potatoes mix which gives a little extra flavor to the crust. Used chicken tenders and fried for 2 minutes on each side and they turned out excellent!

Still missing a little something? I couldn't tell you what - Still a little bland with the predominant flavor of crackers.

I LOVE this recipe! I only made ONE mistake but it was MY mistake & didn't have to do with the recipe itself. In the picture I uploaded, you can tell I over-cooked the chicken. I made the mistake of not COVERING the chicken so it took longer for it to cook on the inside but as you can see, the "breading" & color of it is a great, golden brown & the taste it wonderful. I deff. will use this again & again! TY!

Great basic recipe! Easy to adapt to any taste bud too! I omitted the potato flakes and did the double dip thing. First flour, then egg/milk then the crackers with salt, pepper and garlic. Very tasty!

With a little alteration this recipe is really good. For crackers use a mixture of Ritz and Cheez-it crackers. Some garlic, onion, and Cajun seasoning will help add flavor to the flower.

This crisped up great, but we were not crazy about the taste--too much saltine taste. Think we'll continue on the search for The Recipe. Thanks.

My husband loves this! He always asks for it. I don't add the potato flakes. I used other reviewer's suggestions and add 1 T seasoning salt and 1 T garlic powder. Good comment is to taste to make sure the coating is pungent! This recipe is fantastic though. And that's coming from a girl who hates fried chicken.

I used corn meal instead of the potato flake & cut up boneless breasts into strips for my kids. They keep asking when we are going to make it again...great recipe...thanks,

This chicken was to die for! The crackers gave just the right crunch. I did, however, have to add a little more flour than the recipe calls for. Other than that...wonderful!

The combination of coating ingrediants really help retain the moisture in the chicken. Enjoyed it very much and used the leftovers today on my salad. Will make again with some additional seasonings. Thanks for the post!

This is the only fried chicken recipe I was ever able to make correctly and have the flavor I was looking for. I do use the cutlets with this recipe but every time the chicken comes out wonderful.

Very light and crispy. I did add more spices to increase the flavor. And I followed other reviewers recommendation to dip the chicken in flour before dipping in the egg and flour mix.

This was an awesome recipe, and it was easy. I am still beginning to learn and I was able to follow this recipe very easily. I used Club crackers instead of Saltine, and I added a few extra spices at the advice of other reviewers. I also followed the recommendation of another reviewer & dredged the chicken through flour, then egg, and then the seasoning. The chicken was tender & juicy, and the coating was crispy and flavorful. We will definitely be making this one again!
