My kids loved this, and it was so much faster than making fried chicken for my large family. I did as suggested by some people and dipped in flour first, and I also added a bit of poultry seasoning to the cracker mixture. I made a veloute sauce with the drippings to serve with it. This was excellent.

This was excellent chicken. Nice and crispy. I've tried a few other recipes on here and none of them turned out as good as this. It has a nice mild flavor, so if you like your chicken a little bolder you might want to add some more spices. I'll probably try a little cayenne and garlic next time.

I thought this was excellent. I dipped in flour first, then egg, then the cracker mix. I added some panko crumbs in with the mix and lots of seasoning. The chicken turned out nice and crispy with great flavor. Served this with creamy milk gravy, mashed potatoes and roasted broccoli. Good meal - thanks!

Great recipe! I added a little bit more spices to taste, but overall this recipe is a smash. I never would have thought to add saltine crackers but it was delicious. Will try again, thanks.

My boyfriend loved this chicken. He said it tasted even better the second day. I on the other hand was not too fond of it. I followed the recipe to a T. I wasnt keen on the flavor of the coating...a little blah. My boyfriend thanks you though!

I liked this but it was too salty for my taste. I think maybe low sodium crackers or ritz next time.

Wow! One of the best meals I've ever made. We loved this! I did add another 1/2 tsp of pepper, 1 tsp parsley, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 1/2 tsp paprika as suggested by another reviewer. Didn't find it bland at all. I also made Mom's Country Gravy from this site to serve with it and it was seriously delicious!

I had fun making and serving this recipe. It was easy and turned out beautifully. I added garlic powder and red pepper to the cracker mix and also dredged the chicken in flour before the egg. I deep fried these (4 at a time) at 350 degrees for 15 minutes and they were perfectly done. Thanks for a new recipe!! This one is a keeper!

Good, not greasy fried chicken. Not the best. Very heavy breading - so Tim liked it alot!

Needs to be spiced up a bit. I followed the directions and then added my own blend of spices. Garlic powder, paprika, a bit of poultry seasoning, and a bit of thyme. It was easy and delicious. The kids loved it. Will definately make again.

This was good! I used 'Ritz' type crackers instead of saltines (all I had), forgot to add the flour, added extra potato flakes and spices (garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, etc...) and it turned out great!

Not bad, although the mixture was too bland for me. Anyone can doctor it up and add their own twist/signature to it by adding their favorite spices. I sure will do so. All in all, great base recipe for fried chicken. Will make again.
