This was OK, but it definitely did not taste like an alfredo sauce. I agree with a previous reviewer who thought that this was more like a chicken stroganoff. If you are looking for a real alfredo sauce, don't use this recipe.

Absolutely fantastic!!! I have been using this recipe for about a year. It's my standard "take a meal to someone" recipe. And almost without exception I am asked for the recipe. I haven't done it with the mushrooms and tomatoes, but I think they would be good in it too. I think I do more garlic. I am surprised some people rated this very low and said it was bland - this is the full flavor alfredo sauce I was looking for! I've tried other recipes and they taste like a flour/glue paste sauce. Not this one. I'm pretty sure you'll love it!

great and easy...more like a stew or casserole with pasta underneath. I would go with 2 pounds of pasta in the future and use the largest skillet possible(sauce almost overflowed) smells great.the best fettucini i have everrr had! -ilovecooking12321. ps leave sauce on skillet longer than normal to tighten up before added with pasta.

You simply cannot go wrong with this delicious recipe. We love Italian recipes, and, in particular Fettuccini Alfredo. We seem to sample that dish almost always when trying new restaurants. With this winning recipe, we may eat at home more in this economy. Don't change a thing!

Sometimes alfredo can be bland but not this dish! This alfredo was very flavorful. I didn't think that 1 Tbsp of salt was correct so I just put 1 1/2 tsp instead. That was the only change I made and it turned out great! My family liked it! This is a keeper for me!

All I can say is WOW ...this was definetly very rich and tasty.I did not use the mushrooms,The only thing I would say to lessen is the salt it was a bit salty..so Use half of whatever it calls for..I would make this over and over again..my kids loved it and asked for seconds and thirds..thanks

This recipe is outstanding! This is far better than Chicken Helper's or Macaroni Grill's boxed meal. I followed the recipe exactly and wouldn't change a thing about it.

This recipe was delicious despite my mistakes. I forgot to take the recipe with me to the grocery store, so I mistakenly purchased monterey jack cheese instead of Colby/Jack. Then I undercooked the pasta slightly. The sauce is wonderful. I chose this recipe due to the onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes. Very good. I bet if I bought the correct ingredients it would have been even better!

Extremely tasty. Next time I'll use a touch less flour and omit the sour cream. I added cayenne pepper at last minute as I like it a little spicier than written.
