finally I have found the perfect alfredo sauce! I will never buy the kind in the jar again, this was delicious! I left out the italian seasonings and mushrooms (didn't have any) and used cheddar cheese instead of jack since that was all I had. I also used a small pinch of garlic salt in place of all that regular salt, I cut the recipe in half and still had enough leftover to eat for lunch today. Great recipe thank you!

This is the first review I have ever given, motivated by this perfect chicken dish! I followed the recipe exactly and it was worth the effort. My teenage son and his two friends just couldn't get enough and the recipe will go into the family favorites category. I don't typically like to repeat recipes as there are so many to try, but this is a keeper --thank you!

This recipe was really easy to follow and turned out great! Make sure you use a good parmesan cheese and not the shredded, bagged stuff. The only thing I would change is to add some black pepper when melting the cheeses together. This is sure to be a crowd pleaser...it makes A LOT!!!!!

This was okay, but I thought it lacked flavor. I will probably try again but will have to add additional seasonings.

WOW!!! This was absolutely wonderful! As another reviewers husband said, "Beats Olive Garden!" I forgot to add the tomatoes at the end, but everything else I followed exactly, and I usually change stuff. Glad I didn't this time! It was wonderful just like this!

This was a good premise for Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo. I followed the recipe exactly and found the cream sauce to be a little bland and to milky tasting. So I added a few extra things to tweak it and make it better (including a few splashes of white wine). With my extra spices, it ended up tasting much better.

Amazing! Served with shrimp instead of chicken and it was a huge hit! Just make sure it's extra saucy when you serve it- the pasta sucks it up quickly.

I used less sour cream than called for, less Parmesan cheese, no tomato. It was wonderful! So creamy and cheesy, but not too heavy. It did have a thick mushroom-y taste, though, which my little brother didn't care much for. BUT he still ate it and said that it was one of the best things I have ever cooked! When I tasted it I -literally- called my closest friends and made them drive over to taste it. It was that good.

I made the recipe as written except substituting heavy cream for the 1/2 and 1/2 because thats what I had on hand. It was delicious! I made a big mess because this made more than my pan could hold, but I will not hesitate to make this again, maybe just halving the recipe.

My family loved this (minus the mushrooms). The tomatoes were a nice touch. I had never made alfredo sauce, and I couldn't believe how easy it was. It was even better the next day after the flavors had more time to blend. We'll definitely be making again, maybe adding broccoli.

A "very good" version of fettucini alfredo probably one of the best recipes I have seen. I didn't give it 5 stars because it did not "wow" me. I will definitely make this again it's a top pick and next time add a splash of white wine to try and get the "wow" factor.

This was absolutely delicious! The only change I made was to leave out the tomatoes. We don't care for them and they seem sort of an odd ingredient for this dish. I accidentally cooked the chicken with the garlic, oregano and onion, but the only difference that made was to darken the color of the sauce just a bit. The taste is still just as good. Next time I am going to try making it with shrimp, but it is definitely a keeper. Thanks.

This had a decent taste, but I do not think that the sauce would hold up after re-heating. I think next time instead of using half and half and milk that I would use heavy cream. I'm not so sure about the colby cheese either. When this sauce cooled down, it kind of curdled a bit, which is why I do not think it would be good as leftovers.

This was Delish !!! I halfed the recipe and added extra garlic and cheese - Omitted the tomatoes because DH does not like them much. It was a thick creamy cheesy flavorful sauce - Yummy !!!

Loved this sauce! Wondered how it would be since it had cheese & that was new for me in an Alfredo sauce, but this was really good! Served with a blackened chicken that was submitted by Karena here on All recipes. YUM! This ones a keeper!

I followed the instructions exactly as stated and it came out absolutely fabulous! I have more than enough for the next 2-3 days. The only thing is that my pasta did not cook fully but this was probably my fault. It needed about 15 minutes to cook but the instructions say 10. This meal is very tasty and I highly recommend it. The whole time from start to finish took me 40 minutes.
