I have used this recipe a dozen times. My husband and son love it. It is fast easy and good. I don't put chilli powder in it though. Happy Cooking

Wow, wow, wow! Creamy and delicious is how I would describe this meal. Truly a delicatble Enchilada. I tweaked a bit though. I added fresh garlic and cilantro to meat mixture. And I also added ground black pepper and chili powder to sauce mixture. The only problem was....NOT ENOUGH ENCHILADAS!

Very good! I doubled the sauce and added taco seasoning instead of the spices it called for and I also used some Rotel tomatoes with the green chiles instead of just green chiles alone. I also added some cheese inside the enchiladas as well as on top. Will make again!

Our meal schedules have been out of sync, so I have been trying to make some dishes that are easy to throw together and that my teen likes and can grab and heat up when she needs to. This was very easy and well received. I doubled the sauce ingredients and added about 2/3rds of a cup to the chicken mixture. I used fire roasted green chile peppers and they added a lot more flavor than regular canned chile peppers. If I was making this for myself and not the finicky child, I would have added some roasted red peppers as well. Instead of chili powder I used roughly 2 Tablespoons homemade taco seasoning from this site. I will always have these on hand in the freezer for an emergency dinner. Not gourmet, but good!

YUMMY YUMMY!!! I added a can of hot enchilada sauce to the soup/sour cream mixture, added close to a half cup to the chicken/onion mixture and put just a little bit of cheese inside the enchiladas as well as on top. Also, I cut off about 1/3 of the tortilla before rolling. I thought they rolled up nicer and were less bulky. Awesome recipe.

These were ok for me, but nothing special. I did make them with corn tortillas instead of flour, but that was the only change I made. They need something to take the cream of soup taste out, because unfortunately, that was the dominant flavor. Maybe more spices would have helped.

My hubby loved these! He doesn't normally like leftovers, but he polished these off without complaint. I didn't get any leftover enchiladas! :) They'll be a staple around here. Very tasty and relatively simple to prepare.

Super easy which is great. Ingredients that I changed: cheese soup rather than cream of chicken, added taco seasoning and enchilada sauce to soup mix. When preparing, I shredded chicken rather than cubing. And in addition to putting soup mix on top, I poured on some more enchilada sauce. Very good.

I almost doubled the meat in this recipe and then put a little cheese inside the enchilada. Made it for a party of 20 and everyone raved about the recipe. Family all liked it as well, it will stay on our regular rotation.

This is a very good recipe and was quite a hit! I did add cumin and 1 can green enchilada sauce. I like things spicy! I'll definitely make this again. Thanks!

This was great! Took the advice of some of the previous reviewers and used Campbells Cheese Soup instead of Cream of Chicken soup. I made these for my boyfriend and he ate 4 enchiladas in one sitting, definitely one of his favorite recipes. Thanks for sharing!

Just tried this tonight, and it turned out WONDERFUL! I did add some jambalaya rice (since my family loves rice) and doubled the sauce mixture since we like it really saucy. Thank you! Now i have a new recipe to make during parties and potlucks! YUMMY YUMMY! Definitely a 5 Star!

This is a great recipe! I highly recommend keeping the chiles and chili powder as it can be bland without them. We use green onions. They add a bit of color and they taste just as good.

I loved this recipe!! It tasted like the kind I get from our local mexican resturant! I used canned chicken, and rotele and it was great. Thanks for such a good recipe.

THANK YOU FOR THIS RECIPE!! This was an easy dinner, and so delicious, that I got so many compliments! Someone even said I should cook for a living and after tasting a bit, they wanted one! :) I took some suggestions, and instead of the chicken soup I used salsa velveeta cheese (in the box) and used the recipe on it. It says to slice up the velveeta and add 1/2 cup chunky salsa, then heat it in the microwave for 3 mins. This I used to mix with the sour cream instead of the soup. (It made a huge bowl so I poured it into the sour cream mixture to my liking) I also used someone's suggestion and when I spooned the chicken mixture on the tortillas, I also spooned some of the sour cream mixture as well. Keeps it moist and yummy. :) ALSO -- I dont think 9x13 pan will hold 8 burritos. I suggest making 5 instead, to put more filling in! Once again, THANK YOU so much for this recipe. I'd recommend it to anyone who likes Spanish food, or anyone who wants to please guests at dinner with these magnificent enchiladas!
