This recipe was a great base recipe. The only things that I changed were to sprinkle the chicken with Tony's and then dip in egg before filling and rolling. I also used Italian bread crumbs for more flavor. This tastes great with mozzarella cheese as well.

This was great - I dipped the chicken in egg and then added finely chopped pecans to my breadcrumbs and coated one side of the chicken, rolled it with provolone cheese and ham, put in the pan, sprinkled with leftover crumbs, and added the pat of butter on top everyone recommended. I cooked it at 400 for 20 min. and then 5 min more with the cheese. Came out yummy.

This is a regular in our house. I make a reduced calorie version: -thin sliced chicken breast -reduced fat thin sliced provolone -1 slice of thin sliced deli ham For bread crumbs, I first dip chicken in egg, then use a mixture of plain bread crumbs seasoned with our favorite Susie Q's Santa Maria Style seasoning. We dip it in honeymustard dressing & serve with a side of whole grain brown rice & my homemade applesauce!

FANTASTIC recipe considering how easy it is to prepare. Great with the sauce on top (1 C. cream of chicken soup, 1/2 C. sour cream - I used cottage cheese that I blend until smooth for a healthy alternative, and 1 Tlbs lemon juice.)

This was okay....I am sure it was my fault but I found it to be a bit bland. I didnt follow directions to a t....I rolled the cheese with the ham..mistake! I did add wine and mushrooms to the sauce which was pretty good. I wonder if seasoning the chicken more would have helped. I also used deli style smoked ham... Hmmm....

Easy and yummy! I used provolone cheese instead of swiss...it was all I had, but it was gooood! I'll use swiss next time. Thanks for this quick, easy recipe!

I took the advice of others and dipped the rolled chicken in butter before rolling in breadcrumbs. I cooked them at 400 degrees for 45 min., which was perfect. I also made a sauce from cream of chicken soup with various herbs because, based on other reviewers comments, I thought the chicken may be a little dry. However, the chicken was moist and tender and the sauce was not needed. Very good recipe that makes a beautiful presentation on the plate.

I used this recipe but added a hint of mozz on the top about 20 min in. Also, when completed I added a dash of Old Bay. Fan - Tas - Tic!

This dish was incredibly easy to make and tasted great! I used store-bought bread crumbs but added a little chopped rosemary to them which complimented the flavors wonderfully! I will definitely be making this again.

I found thie dish very yummy but a bit dry for me. I will use others suggestions next time and roll the chicken in egg and add the celery soup/sour cream topping. Overall a wonderful tasty dish.

This was disappointing to me, because of the high ratings. Upon reading dozens and dozens of them, I found most were not rating the original recipe but the changes they made TO this one. I did like not having to roll the chicken in breadcrumbs. That was a time saver. I also made a sauce out of cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and zesty honey mustard. I pounded my chicken thin, but it was nowhere near done after the 35 minutes stated. I had to turn the oven up to 400 and let it go another 20 minutes. Bottom line is that this was good, but nothing special.

Wow...my husband and kids have found their new favorite meal. It is really hard to get my 6 and 3 year old boys to eat meat, but they loved this recipe. The chicken was so tender and the bread crumbs added a lot. I added some Parmesan cheese to the bread crumbs and that added a lot of flavor.

really really good! I place the ham and cheese in the center of the breast and then roll. To get the bread crumbs to stick, I dip the roll into melted butter and then into the crumbs. A honey mustard sauce (half and half, sour cream, mayo, mustard, honey) is great on top. My husband asks for it all of the time now.
