Our oldest daughter absolutely loves Chicken Cordon Bleu. She was not disappointed with the results from this recipe. I followed the recipe exactly, except that I rolled the chicken in melted butter before I dredged them in the bread crumbs. They were impressive enough that I could have served them to company, but easy enough to fix quickly for dinner after I come home from work. I served them with mashed potatoes and fried corn, which was perfect. This is a great recipe.

Yum! Everyone I've made this for enjoys this... but I still prefer to season my own bread crumbs.

This was really good. I took others suggestions and dipped them in egg and then the bread crumbs and put a little butter on the top. I also made the sauce out of cream of chicken, sour cream and lemon juice which was delicious. I will definatley make this again. Also, I dont think the toothpicks are necessary. I didnt use them and they stayed rolled up just fine.

LOVED it. My absolute favorite chicken recipe. Hubbie likes more cheese, so I add an extra piece inside for him, but besides that it is perfect.

I was totally shocked that I was able to pull this off considering I am fairly new at cooking out of the box. My boyfriend loved this and has already requested I make it later in the week. I would however add more cheese and ham in the chicken and did so myself. It was harder to roll but I toothpicked them tight. I will make it again.

Awesome! My husband and I loved these breasts. I used about and egg and a half to moisten the chicken before dipping it into the breadcrumb mixture. I didn't use a sauce-I felt that it didn't need one. I shredded extra swiss cheese and placed it on top of the chicken, and the last ten minutes of baking, I added a tsp. of butter to each breast. I also used 2 pieces of smoked ham per breast instead of one. The end result was fabulous.

I did this exactly as is says, but I made a nice Bechamel Sauce over it. GREAT! Not the healthiest way to make it but a lot of room for substitutes which still would come out good. I made it with mashed potatoes on the side.

This recipe was easy and very good. I do agree that the breadcrumbs could use some butter, and the reviewers who posted the sauce recipe are definitely onto something (wish I'd read about it before I made it!). Overall though, it was a hit and I'll definitely make it again.
