Original Recipe Yield 4 servings

Ingredients

  • 4 Mission® Life Balance® Whole Wheat Tortillas
  • 4 tablespoons light mayonnaise
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 tomato, thinly sliced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 strips bacon fully cooked, microwave to crispy
  • 1 avocado, peeled, pitted and sliced lengthwise
  • 12 slices oven-roasted deli-sliced chicken breast

Directions

  1. Spread 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise over each tortilla.
  2. To build 1 wrap: place lettuce on the center of the wrap. Top lettuce with tomato, onion, bacon, avocado and sliced chicken.
  3. Fold in the left and right sides of the wrap towards the center, and roll the bottom edge of the tortilla into a burrito shape.
  4. Slice the wrap in half and serve.

Footnotes

  • Hints
  • Try Mission® Jalapeno or other varieties of wraps.
  • Using freshly cooked peppered bacon versus fully cooked bacon; adds great flavor and texture to the wrap recipe.
  • Rotisserie chicken (pull chunks of dark and white meat) could be substituted for the grilled chicken strips; for ease of execution.
  • Use Vidalia onions (when in season) for a sweeter onion flavor profile.
  • Remove the carrots for a more traditional flavored club.
  • Substitute spring lettuce mix for the iceberg lettuce for a high flavor, nutritious and colorful wrap.
