I thought it was very nice, but the next time I would put a little less fennel and cumin and a little more rasins. But that is just my taste.

Loved this recipe! I couldn't find bulgur in the store so I used rice instead, just upped the broth by 1 cup. I left out the salt and added a little more spices. The caraway seeds and raisins give the dish a very tasty complexity. I would recommend chopping the walnuts well, mine weren't chopped quite enough. The walnuts add a nice texture.

This was so tasty! My kids and hubby gave it thumbs up. We all enjoyed it different ways. I had it on lettuce with left over yogurt dip. Hubby had it w/yogurt dip only. 9yr old w/salsa and 7yr old in a bun with KETCHUP!! I did add more water halfway through cooking..... THANKS, It's a keeper:)

This was really great. Based on other reviews I doubled the spices (cinnamon and cumin), and added more chicken broth during cooking. Without those changes it may not have been as good. It was fantastic - I especially loved the crunch from the walnuts.

Good stuff! I omitted the caraway (because I didn't have any), but I suspect adding it would only enhance this tasty dish. I doubled the amount of cumin and cinnamon, as I customarily do in most recipes calling for these warm (and warming) spices. I also used a combination of breast and thigh meat (personal preference ... just think thighs are juicier and more flavorful). Thanks, Leanne -- this has been added to my permanent lunch@work rotation! (Freezes well, too!)

Wow! This was awesome! We'd never tried bulgur before and we really enjoyed it in this easy skillet dish! I have to agree about the moisture content...although we didn't think it was dry, per se; but could have been a bit more moist. Having said that, I will add either a little more chicken broth or water, about halfway way through cooking next time. The taste/blend was wonderful! DH said this was one of the most satisfying meals he's had in a while. I served this with a simple green salad (just sweet onions) with oil and vinegar for the dressing. I love one reviewer's addition of wheatberries ~ yum! I will have to try that next time!

Needs a bit more taste to it. I added twice the cinnamon and cumin, and a bit more salt. I loved it like that.

Excellent blend of flavors. The second time I made it, I added wheatberries which added a new texture and flavor to the mix.
