This was very good. I definitely added more chix broth to make sauce the but the sauce was amazingly flavorful. I am going to try again and omit the flour next time and the butter at the end, not necessary. I wasn't sure whether to chop or mince or neither with the garlic. I chopped a bunch of it and it was awesome. I would also remove the chicken (keeping warm) before I put in the garlic and mushrooms and make a sauce on a lower heat.

Excellent!! I too omitted the flour on the chicken breasts according to other reviewers and the recipe came out absolutely delicious. The only other change I made was throwing in a few extra garlic cloves as we love garlic and can never get enough of it at my house! I am looking forward to making this recipe again real soon! Thanks Colleen for sharing your wonderful recipe.

This was one of those dishes that became a 'regular' in my house. The sauce goes well on steamed carrots or brocolli. This was great!

Loved the sauce! I did not have fresh garlic, so I used garlic powder... still came out delicious. Cant wait to make this again with the real thing. This is an easy, delicious weeknight recipie. I might just make the mushrooms with sauce to serve with steak too.

This was by far the most moist chicken I have ever prepared on the stovetop. It had wonderful flavor, not over powered by the vinegar. We had company over and it was loved by all. I wouldnt change a thing. Until becoming a stay at home mom, I frequently ate at 5 star places in downtown Seattle, and felt this was as good if not better than those $40 chicken breasts! Thankyou!

This was very good. I made a few changes based on the suggestions of others. I omitted flouring the chicken breasts. I pounded them flat before cooking so that they would cook more evenly. I used sliced portabello mushrooms and just a little bit less (1 TBS) of the balsamic vinegar. Nice flavor. Great quick and easy recipe for chicken breasts.

Like others suggested, I omitted the flour. I just added a little bit of corn starch to thicken the sauce at the end and it worked perfectly. Flavor was great for both the sauce and chicken. Easy and quick to prepare. Great for a last minute dinner idea.

This was good and has 5 star potential. I made this recipe without any alterations. The vinegar was too strong however...and I like balsamic vinegar. Next time I will cut the vinegar by half.

this was great! I didn't have quite enough sauce but I'll DEFINITELY be making it again w/ more sauce. I followed advice of others and only used flour to thicken sauce at the end.

Yummy! I made this with vegetarian chick'n breasts (seitan) and followed the directions to make it for two. It was fantastic. I liked the breading but didn't think it added to the final product. My seitan chick'n breasts were a little thick so next time I'll cut them in half width wise. Thank you for sharing this great recipes. Forgot to add that I used vegetable broth instead of chicken broth. Still delicious.

This recipe was fabulous. I had all the ingredients already so it was a no brainer. It was quick. I used canned mushrooms, instead of fresh, but it turned out really good. I didn't have just balsamic vinegar, but I had balsamic vinaigrette dressing, which made the sauce thicker. My picky 3 year old inhaled it. lol. Great recipe!
