This was wonderful! I skipped flouring the chicken as other reviewers had mentioned and omitted the mushrooms because I don't like them. Other than that, I followed the recipe and it was very very yummy! I served with garlic sgetti which I think is a must to complete this dish!

Delicious! I, too, omittted the flour as other reviewers suggested. It turned out moist and flavorful. I served it on a bed of whole wheat pasta and my hubby loved it! Even suggested that this would be a great recipe to use for entertaining. I will use this recipe often!

Fabulous! I did omit the flour as other reviews suggested and flattened the breasts so they would cook evenly, but otherwise followed exactly and it turned out delicious! Hubby said definitely add it to the rotation.

OMGoodness! This was wonderful! Made it exactly as written, dredging the chicken. Got a nice syrupy tasty sauce and moist, tender chicken. Hubby said "Ravishing!" and had seconds. Made Orzo and roasted zucchini/tomato side dishes. A restaurant quality dinner at home! This is definately a new "go to" keeper.

This is one of the best recipes I have ever made on allrecipes!!! Absolutely scrumptious and incredibly easy! I too, left out the flour and simply browned the breast. I used bone-in chicken as it was on sale. After pulling out the chicken to thicken the sauce, I used a fork to pull the chicken meat from the bone. I then added the meat back into the thickened sauce. The other alteration was that I used red wine vinegar, owing to not having balsamic. The meat was juicy and tender, which made me so happy- despite all the yummy things I cook, my chicken has a habit of being like shoe leather, and horribly dry. But not anymore!!! The flavor was lovely. The husband and kids LOVED it~~~ Everyone ate 2 bowls, and are asking me to make it again very soon. Thank you, thank you, thank you, for this fabulous recipe!!! We've a new family favorite!

Delicious! The balsamic adds a nice little zing to the chicken as well as the mushrooms. The sauce really was delightful, from what I tried. I ended up letting it simmer for to long and boiling out most of it, which I would advise against because it tastes so good! I will be trying this one again soon!

My family enjoyed this. my personal preference will be to decrease the vinegar to 1/8 cup the next time I make it. I also used italian seasoning & 5 garlic cloves.

I made this for a dinner party of friends and we all loved it. I feel that the recipe calls for a lot of garlic, but to each his own. I agree that i will double the sauce next time, because it was so tasty.

I loved this!!! Very flavorful!!! I love balsamic vinegar so I found the quantity to be no problem at all. Only things I did different was added a little flour at the end to thicken up the sauce to make it gravy like as well as leave out the bay leaf and thyme (only because I didn't have any.) I served it with mashed potatoes and green beans.

PHENOMENAL!!! This recipe is restaurant quality for sure! I skipped the flour step and added 1 tbs brown sugar when reducing the sauce. I also used fresh thyme. I was eating the sauce by the spoon full...sooooo amazingly good. Will make this again and again.

Loved this! One thing I changed. Add the flour after you've taken the chicken out of the pan, that way the chicken retains it's texture and you get a nice sauce that coats well.

So tasty, and I don't even like vinegar! I cut the vinegar in half, though just out of my fear of vinegar smell/taste. In the end I wished it more sauce to serve over the quinoa. Next time I guess I'll do the called for vinegar and add extra chicken broth. It was delicious!

Made exactly as stated except I didn't use flour on the chicken. I wasn't impressed. Too much vinegar for me, and I don't like thyme so I will just substitute something else for it next time. Sauce is quite runny so maybe a bit of flour will make it thicker (since i omitted the flour on the chicken per previous reviews). Also, are you supposed to mince the garlic or just stick the whole clove in there? Eating a clove of garlic is not very appetizing, so next time, I'll mince it--provided that there'll be a next time.
