Excellent recipe. Only change I made was omitting the flour as other reviewers suggested. Other than that, followed recipe and it turned out wonderfully! Fast and easy too!

This was nice. The only thing I'd change to the base recipe is a bit less balsamic. Beyond the base, I think I might add slices of onion.

The flavor was wonderful. I did add a little less balsamic vinegar from reading the reviews, not much less and I do think I would have enjoyed it with the full amount. I also pounded the chicken for a little more absorption of the flavors.

Very flavorful way to cook a chicken breast very quickly. I don't think my sons will eat it, but we'll see about my daughter. Some onions would be good in the reduction too. I don't think you need the flour either.

It was good. I made it without the flour. I think next time I will use fresh thyme.

I made this for my friend and bf and they both loved it! I substituted the thyme for rosemary, added two more cloves of garlic and also added inch size pieces of hand full of asparagus. When I was reducing the sauce I decided to add a couple teaspoons of flour to thicken it. It was a hit and I will definitely make it again.

My husband and I loved this recipe! We found ourselves scraping the bottom of the pan to get the last of the syrupy goodness. It served up well with plain white rice. Thank you much for such and easy and delicious recipe!!

I know this sounds harsh when compared to other reviews. Let me explain. 3 stars for me means I would try this recipe again, hoping to find the right modifications to make it work for us. That is to say this recipe is inspirational but doesn't quite work for us as is and I'm a little stumped as to how to fix it. But... I'm willing to give it another try because there was a lot that worked with it. 4 stars means good as is with little or no modification. 5 stars means my whole family wants this recipe any day, anytime. In other words, a 5 star rating is a 'boo-ya'! This recipe is a 3 star for us, and that's a good thing. I was very impressed with how incredibly tender and moist the chicken came out. Also, it was easy and fast, also a plus. On the minus side, the vinegar over-powered the dish and I am a lover of balsamic vinegar. I will try this recipe again, perhaps adding some red wine and/or cream to mellow out the vinegar. Give it a try. It's worth it. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable than I will have a suggestion for mellowing out the vinegar?

I know this is a highly rated dish, but for me it came out soggy and had little flavor. It may be my inexperience but I followed the recipe exactly.

Two words: astoundingly delicious. Boy, was this easy to make without fussing around in my kitchen. I had to tweak it slightly because I'm a college student and didn't have fresh mushrooms or chicken broth on hand. Instead, I added chopped onion with the garlic, and a can of cream of mushroom soup when adding the vinegar. The resulting sauce was so wonderful my roommates were ranting about it while licking their plates! This recipe is a keeper if there ever was one!

I would give this 10 stars if I could! It was WONDERFUL! It's my favorite recipe on this site by far! And it's so easy to make. I pretty much followed the recipe exactly, but used italian seasoning instead of thyme because that's all I had. I served it with spinach mushroom risotto and it was to die for! The leftovers were even better! My whole house smelled like a fine dining experience! Thank you for this recipe! It will be in our weekly rotation!
