"Something I put together after the inspiration of my daughter's 'Pita Pizza.' She liked this one a lot and wanted me to submit it! It's tasty so you might want to make more than one for yourself! This recipe makes about 4 pitas."

olive oil, divided
small frozen chicken tenders, thawed and sliced
garlic salt, or to taste
pita bread rounds
prepared Alfredo sauce
fresh spinach leaves, chopped
1 (6.5 ounce) jar
marinated artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
crumbled feta cheese
shredded mozzarella cheese
shredded Parmesan cheese
sliced fresh mushrooms
I made this with whole wheat pita bread no meat and added greek olives and 2 T diced red onion with all the other ingredients mentioned in the recipe and I was amazed how great it turned out! I am making this recipe again and again so versatile... a keeper!
Made as written, but used diced cooked chicken breast and it was wonderful. Very rich and filling.
The only changes made were I used a 12" thin pizza crust, and no mushrooms, because my husband doesn't like them.
We loved it. he ate 5 slices , I had to fight to get 3.
I was worried about layering all the hummus, pesto and alfredo, but found very thin layers worked well. will make again
