I chose this recipe, because the ingredients were simple, and I didn't feel like making a trip to the market for the ingredients that other recipes required. Anyway, these cookies came out pretty well. The dough is VERY sticky, but I was still able to roll it into balls. The dough also spreads a lot in the oven, so I would advise either spacing each dough ball far apart, or just making the balls smaller. Follow the time completely if you want them to be chewy. I did for the first two batches. But for the third batch, I left them in for about 15 minutes, and they came out crispier. Not completely hard, but definitely not chewy. Overall, I really enjoyed this recipe. The cookies tasted good and weren't too sweet. Just right.
