"I first sampled these bars when a student's mother brought them in for a party at the school where I taught. I enjoyed them so much I had to get the recipe."

These bars are easy to make and so good!!!! My kids said they were better than store bought granola bars. We didn't add the nuts or coconut. We also baked it in a large 11x15 pan. The thickness of the bars were perfect. I plan to make these again and again. They are perfect to put in school lunches. Tiffany Musselman
