So so... they were a little too cakey, not enough peanut butter, and way too much vanilla (even with only 1 tsp). I was looking for something more like a chewy chocolate chip cookie.

These cookies were awesome... I made no alterations to the recipe, with the exception of the cookie size. I dropped the dough about 2 tbsp size and baked for 10 mins. They came out super-yummy! The peanut butter flavor was present but not overwhelming. AND I love my cookies moist and chewy, and these were both!

These are ok... edible and soft. However, they don't taste very peanut buttery, and rather than the soft, chewy texture I was expecting, they turned out very dry and cake-like. I ended up giving them all away to neighborhood children, because my husband hated them and I couldn't stomach eating the entire batch. I followed the recipe exactly as written.

In response to the last review (JAMESDAVE), I think it was extremely harsh. These cookies were EXCELLENT. They had a great peanut butter flavor, chewy texture and a great balance between chocolate and peanut butter. It may be possible the reviewer didn't follow directions. And remember DAVEJAMES, sometimes it not what you say, it's how you say it.

Definetly needs more peanut butter, like 1/2 cup to 1 cup more! But they are soft and chewy and melt-in-your-mouth delicious!

Good cookies but not great. I added a little extra peanut butter and used bittersweet chocolate. I might make again but maybe use a little less flour so they will spread out some and be chewier.

These are some good soft/chewy cookies! Not blow-you-away peanut butter but enough to taste. Mine were not bitter or blah. (Bitter? Did you use soda, not powder, the correct amount, and mix well enough??) My family of seven loved them, so I will make these again.

I have never made such eye catching cookies! I did omit the corn syrup and they passed the Kid and Daddy taste test.

I receive so many compliments on these cookies! They are great. I don't know if it's the corn syrup or the hint of peanut butter taste or what but people beg me to make these over regular chocolate chip cookies.

FINALLY, after years of searching, I have found the perfect peanut butter chocolate chip cookie! This cookie is the perfect balance between a chewy and soft cookie. I think the peanut butter taste is perfect but if you like ALOT of peanut butter taste, it is easy to add a bit more peanut butter! YUM!

??? These weren't chewy at all. Very dry. I just read the recipe again to make sure I didn't forget an ingredient...not sure what went wrong here.

If these had seemed like they had peanut butter in them, they might have been better liked. The person I made them for said they were an allright cookie but not much pb flavour. I was equally unimpressed. They aren't *bad* they're just not very good. That being said, I put most of the batch in the kitchen at my office and the staff gobbled them all gone in no time. I guess they must appeal to some folks!

these were pretty tasty- I used extra crunchy peanut butter and dark chocolate chips and they were a hit. I found them a little on the greasy side and they cooked slightly faster for me (around 9 minutes). But overall good!
