These were ok. I added extra peanut butter after my first batch and that imroved the flavor. I was just hoping for a soft cookie, but the "chewy" in the title is indeed literal. They've got a more cake-like texture. If you like that, then they're great. If not, find a different recipe. Still yummy though.

Made these last night! They are exactly as described and exactly what I was looking for! Thank You! I only changed cookie drop size, closer to 1/8 cup and shortened baking time!

The recipe is quite good, though I used an entire cup of peanut butter because I read all the reviews that said that 1/2 cup wasn't quite enough to bring out the peanut butter flavour. Good!

This was an excellent recipe. I made it for New Year's Eve this year and it was a great hit. Very chewy but I also changed the baking time to 10 minutes.

These were just okay...a little too spongy for my taste. I wouldn't make this recipe again.

Hands down one of the best cookie recipes I've tried on here!! I cut the baking time down to 9 min. and used about 1 1/4 cups of semi-sweet chocolate chips instead. Perfection outta the oven!!

I took the advice of other reviewers, increased peanut butter to 1 cup, decreased flour to 2 cups, used Irish cream instead of water, honey instead of corn syrup, and used chocolate chips & reduced to 1 1/2 cups. They are delicious and still chewy 2 days later(it's just my husband and me so it'll take us some time to finish them!).

I was looking for something to tie me over until I can get to a place that sells Uncle Eddie's Vegan Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies (The closest is an hour and a half away). I'm not vegan or vegetarian so this recipe is fine in that aspect. And the cookies are good. They're just no substitute for what I'm craving.

These are very delicious, and chewy. The only thing that I would change next time, and there will be a next time, is I found that the 2 teaspoons of vanilla seemed to be too much. It took away from the peanutty taste. Maybe I would do 1 teaspoon instead. I would maybe add pb chip, too. But thats only because I LOVE PBUTTER and chocolate together! But trust me, it wouldn't be too much Peanut Butter taste.

GREAT RECIPIE! I have to say I changed it up a bit.I used 11 oz bag of chocolate chips and that was more than enough choclate chips. The choclate chips didnt mix in very well so I couldnt imagine 16 oz (2 cups). Also I think this recipie would work easier if it was refrigerated. The dough was a little hard to mess with.I dropped them by spoon ful(streches better too)and baked for 9 minuets at 375.Also for a fancie look I drizzled melted choclate in a decorator bag over the top.YUM!

These went over very well! "The best peanut butter chocolate chip cookie I ever had!" I added an extra 1/2c of peanut butter, and I still think they could have been a little more flavorful. Everyone else really dug them though.

Nice change from a regular Chocolate chip cookies. Made as written and really liked them. Gives a mild peanut butter taste, not too sweet. Used a small ice cream scoop, cooked for 11 minutes till golden, yielded about 36-40 cookies, not sure because my son kept taking one from each batch while still warm before I could move them to the cooling rack. Will make again.

These were okay. They weren't actually very sweet and you couldn't taste much peanut butter in the finished product. Others said their's spread a lot but mine hardly spread at all so they were lumpy/held the form that they were in when I dropped them on the sheet instead of getting nice and round like most cookies do. Also, the cookie was very cake-like and didn't have a very nice golden color on top like the picture shows. I only made about 16 of the cookies and decided to save the other half of the dough as is because the dough itself is delicious- sweet, slightly peanut-buttery, and chocolaty!

I would give this 3 1/2 stars if I could. These cookies had a nice flavor, but I was not overly impressed with them, and I have definitely tasted better. The second time around I added 1 cup of quick oats in place of 1 cup of flour and this made the texture better. I only cooked mine for 10 minutes - any longer than that and they ended up very crispy, not at all soft. They do spread - they are not puffy cookies after they have cooled. I may make this again, but I think I will probably keep looking for a softer peanut butter cookie.

wow, wow, wow! These were so fabulous. Just like Starbucks cookies. I made some changes based on reviews and on what I was trying to simulate (the peanut butter cup cookies from the Barnes and Noble Starbucks). I used 1/4 C butter and 1/4 C coconut oil instead of 1/2 C butter. I cut the sugar down to 1 1/4 C total (next time I'll go down to 1 C). I used honey instead of corn syrup. I used about 3/4 C of peanut butter, and cut the flour down to 2C (I also used all whole wheat flour instead of white). I used 1 C of semi-sweet choc chips and about 3/4 C of Reece's pueanut butter cup morsels (like tiny peanut butter cups). These made big delicious cookies, I will deffinently make this again and might even freeze the cookies so I'm not tempted to buy Starbucks cookies next time we go there.

My friends and I made this recipe during the holidays; I didn't care for it. It says to drop quarter cupfuls for each cookie, but that makes for a VERY large cookie, so we made them a bit smaller. It was tasty, just not as delicious as I'd hoped.

Very very good recipe!!! I used white chocolate chips and holiday chips with red and green stripes!! They look so pretty I almost don't want to eat them!!! These cookies are also HUGE!!! I got nervous when I laid them out by the 1/4 cup on the cookie sheet but they turned out GREAT!!!
