These are out of this world. My husband doesn't care for peanut butter and can't keep his hands out of the cookie tin....The second time I made these I used crunchy peanut butter and increased the amount to 3/4 cup....YUM_O

Amazing recipe! Perfect for those peanut butter lovers, so moist and chewy! I followed the recipe exactly (which is rare for me!) ... and then just added a handful of milk chocolate and peanut butter chips to the mix! Absolutely fabulous!

These were pretty good. I had to cook them longer than the 25 minutes - it was probably about 30 minutes, and they turned out perfect - soft and peanut buttery. They basically taste like peanut butter cookies - I might add 1/2 cup cocoa next time, as I think it chocolate-peanutbutter would be an improvement over the current peanut butter alone. I added, like others, chocolate chips (ie. crushed Hershey milk chocolate bars), and they really add to the tastiness factor. I would make again. Give it a try!

Easy to make, but baking it was sort of difficult. I was so worried to over bake them. The top was starting to brown, but the inside was still under cooked..

I tried this recipe using one of the suggestions to bake them for 25mins to avoid dryness. They turned out looking fine on top but the bottom was definitely underdone. I can't stress enough that you use the FULL BAKING TIME if you want this recipe to be successful. After I tried this recipe a second time and followed the baking instructions they came out beautifully and ended up a big hit! I will make this again and again.

These brownies were very moist. I followed the directions exactly and I did add in chocolate chips. I'm only giving this 3 stars b/c the flavor really lacked something. Not that strong of a peanut butter taste. Not sure what to add to make this more flavorful? More peanut butter and maybe a dash more salt?

These are too yummy! I made them for family visiting from Holland and they took the leftovers on the plane with them. :) They were a hit!

I thought these were really good, but could have used a bit more peanut butter. Next time I make them I will add a couple tablespoons, since I am a big peanut butter lover. Like others I added 1/2 cup of chocolate chips, and I think it makes the recipe. I will be making these again.

Not bad the first day (four stars), but they did not keep well. Dried up quickly.

I have made this recipe twice in the last week, it is that good. All I changed was to add chocolate chips to it. Yummy! I didn't have any problems with dryness or over baking. Family and Friends love them.

I should give this recipe 0 stars for the directions. 30 minutes is WAY TOO LONG for these brownies. I took mine out after 22 and they were already dry, I can't imagine how they would come out if someone actually followed the recipe. 1/3 cup of butter is not enough to make moist brownies. These were dry and crumbly. I would advise if you are going to make this to add more butter (maybe 1 stick), lessen the flour (by 1/4 cup) and bake for only 20-25 minutes (depending on your oven). I'm not going to bother making this again. Wasted my time and half a jar of peanut butter on this recipe, that was enough.

If you throw in half a cup of chocolate chips, these will satisfy any chocolate and peanut butter cravings. Yum! I only used 1/4 cup of white sugar and they were sweet enough for me.

I was really looking forward to this recipe and followed it to a T, but it wound up being horrible -- not brownie or cake like at all. I tossed it in the trash. I won't be making this again.

These were pretty tasty! I'm giving them three stars because it's a pretty picky recipe. The first time I baked them, I took them out at 40 minutes but they still didn't seem totally done (tasted good though!). I gave the recipe to a friend and hers came out dry at 35 minutes. I think it does help if you add chocolate chips. These definitely taste like brownies though, not cakey.

I multiplied these out to make a hotel pan. They still turned out very well. Very moist and not too strong of a peanut butter taste. Made them at a camp in France this summer multiple times and every time they were a hit.

The first time I made these, I doubled the recipe(minus one egg, little extra pb) and marbled them with a boxed brownie mix, then put mini pb cups in them! sooo delicious. I took them to a get-together with some of my Amish neighbors and the pan came home scraped clean!! The second time I made them, this afternoon, I simply went by the recipe and put them in a 9x9 and added about 1/2 c. of mini milk chocolate chips. Simply wonderful :-)
