"Everyone who has tried these cookies says they're the best they've ever eaten. I'm sure the addition of pudding mix makes all the difference."

I guess people have a different opinion of what "chewy" is. These cookies were more fluffy than chewy, and the addition of the instant pudding mix just gave them a store-bought taste. Less than impressive.

I love the flavor of these! I got a new cookie scoop for Mother's Day and was asked to make 'gooey' chocolate chip cookies with it. My first batch didn't spread like I wanted, so I flattened the tops with a glass on the rest of them. They are very good and chewy when first out of the oven. Not quite as chewy when cool. I'll make these again, because they are very good, but still in search of the perfect chewy cookie... Thanks!

I loved this recipe, I saw the other reviews and they were right, these were not chewy, they were soft, so I changed a few things. :D I melted the butter before I added it to the sugar, I took the cookies out of the oven a few minutes earlier and let the cool on the pan before putting them on a cooling rack. I then put the cookies in the fridge over night and they came out chewy! :D
