These are good, but boy are they sweet! I am not surprised . . .all that honey and the chocolate and butterscotch chips! But this is my first foray into granola bars and I'm very pleased with how they turned out. I went with one reviewers suggestion to add in only 3 cups of granola. Pure laziness on my part, actually. I just got tired of stirring! I put mine in the fridge to cool, and they got so hard it was difficult to get them out of the pan! I think this is a great base recipe for me to try other kinds, since its a bit sweet for me, but bf and I did really like them. Thanks!

Didn't have choc chips, so I subsituted and used raisins and chopped pecans. Made them more into a sweet breakfast bar than a dessert. Very good! Not a lot of mess to clean up. Will def make these again. Great to use w/ leftover chips! Used suggestion to add honey and after leaving uncovered for the day, did not fall apart.

These bars are a hit in MY house! The first time I made them, following the recipe exactly, they were somewhat dry. For the second batch, I only used 3 cups of oats and added a little more honey (I didn't measure, but maybe 1/8 cup). I'll definitely continue making these.
