This are wonderful! Be warned - the batter is not firm like the typical drop cookie dough. I was tempted to add more flour and I am glad I didn't they turn out just fine. They are crisp on the outside, and chewy on the inside. I omitted nuts and used white chocolate swirl chips instead. Be sure to save an extra half cup of chips to arrange on top of the cookie before you cook - otherwide no one will see the swirls.

OMG these are amazing! I'm making them for my family's Christmas party this weekend, and I baked six tonight and my boyfriend and I loved them! I just dark chocolate baking powder and mint chocolate chips and they are phenomenal. I didn't use nuts either, because of food allergies in the family. I'm excited to pass these around!! :o)

Excellent! I used peanut butter chips rather than chocolate and these were great! Perfectly chewy on the inside, slightly crunchy on the edges. This will be added to my permanent collection!

Very good cookies! I have found that with many cookies after they are taken out of the oven they tend to--well, smoosh down, collapse. NOT with these babies!! They came out of the oven beautifully and they cooled beautifully! They were a hit at my house!

best recipe ever!! followed recipe exactly and added white cocolate swirled chocolate chips so they werent quite as chocolatey only flaw is that they seemed to loose their consistency after a few days in a plastic baggie

These are very, very good. I love chewy, mostly flat cookies but I am forever finding recipes that claim to be "chewy" but actually yield soft or rounded cookies. These are dense, satisfyingly chewy and flat with a nicely crackled/wrinkled top. The chocolate flavor is just right. I like them best completely cooled for the chewiest texture.

This is a great recipe! I bring this to work all the time and they disappear in no time. I've even made it with those newer caramel swirl chocolate chips and they taste fantastic like that too!
