Tastes so good! I did use less sugar, more butter and a bit of milk as was suggested. Hard to cut up but completely worth it.

This is the worst Brownies Recipe ever. When mixing, so so very very DRY. You can tell right away, when mixing and tasting these brownies will be dry and gritty from the sugar. The cooked slightly around the edges, and NO COOKING, in the middle for 30 min. GRITTY GRITTY GRITTY. NASTY NASTY NASTY. Don't waste your ingredients. Save your butter, and eat another recipe.

These are definately the 'chewiest' brownies I have ever had, somewhere between fudge and traditional brownies? Kept the cocoa and sugar as called and there was a very slight grainy consistancy, but did not bother me at all they were SO good! Next time will skip the parchment paper and try greasing the bottom of the pan.

WOW! This is a great recipe... I tweaked to be lower in sugar by using Splenda (about 1/2 the recommended amount) and it worked great! They turned out to be very chewy and rich. I give this a thumb up all the way!

Really good! it only filled about a 9by 9 inch square of the recommended tin, bit it spread out during cooking. Gooey and delicious, though did stick to baking parchment. I made it with melted butter as opposed to oil, very luxurious.

Chewy and chocolatey! You don't have to line the pan with parchment paper. Cooking spray on the pan worked fine for me.

These get a solid 4 stars, the results were worth 5 but that's after making some changes to the recipe. Like many others I decreased the cocoa to 3/4 c. and the sugar to 1 1/2 c. I also added a couple tablespoons of milk to make the batter easier to spread. Used a 9x9 pan and ended up with brownies that were crisp on the top and amazingly fudgy under that crust.

In a word, Bad. I follwed the recipe exactly as written. They were easy to make. I greased my pan and my paper and after they cooled they were so sticky I couldn't pry the paper off. Who wants to eat a brownie with little bits of paper stuck all over the bottom? The bite I did manage to scrape out wasn't very good, it tasted like raw batter. I was really let down by this one.

I thought that this recipe was so easy to make. It truly was very chewy and soft. It was a big hit at my school bake sale. But i would have to say that there was too much sugar and it made it alitte bit granny.

these were really good and chewy but i added in 1/4 tsp of baking powder to make them thicker because people were complaining that they were really thin and they turned out great!

Even with the 1/4 cup of oil the batter was too thick to work with. They had a very heavy granulated suger taste to them. They tasted better the second day warmed a bit in the microwave. More like fudge than what you get in the commercial brownie boxes.

Yummy! Gooey and you NEED the parchment paper. I baked 5 mins extra. Cooled 30 minutes before cutting. Sprayed my knife with cooking spray before cutting. SO RICH AND GOOD!!! Oh and bake in an 8x8 pan -- they are thin . Hubby said "They are like a Rambo movie with chocolate instead of blood" Chocolate overload!!!

These turned out really terriable. I used really course suger (that was all I had), but that can not be the only reason that they were not chewey at all.
