Absolutely wonderful prepared exactly as directed. Could also easily add other ingredients like red onion, cilantro, etc.

Very easy and goes great with BBQ chicken. I addeed some chopped red onion and used cherry tomatoes cut in half. I kept the basil, cilantro would work in this dressing too but my husband was getting tired of cilantro. The basil was actually a nice change. I doubled the amount of lime juice and sugar - then doubled the dressing altogether. Overall, very good.

This is a nice colorful salad. I substituted the basil with cilantro to go with my mexican main dish. I think the addition of some vinegar to the dressing might liven it up a bit.

This was great. I made it to go with a light lunch of left over chicken wings. The flavors were outstanding. My sister who is a very picky eater really enjoyed it. Will definitely make this again and again. PS. I did not change a thing, it is oooooh to good in the original recipe.

I was looking for a quick and delicious summertime salad to go with our grilled dinner. This salad is so easy and very delicious! In fact, my husband and I were both eating it as a meal itself the next day! :)

I don't like salad dressing, vinegar, or sour cream so this was wonderful for me. I added purple onion, orange and yellow bell peppers and used white corn. I doubled the recipe and took it to a senior apartment complex dinner and they loved it. I thought the dressing was the best part as it brought out the fresh tast of everything. Make sure you squeeze fresh lime juice.

This is a light , refreshing salad . We like this in the summer, on those really hot days when you don't feel like cooking or fussing with supper. Sometimes I'll add gr. corriander instead of basil , and use gr. onions too. This is a keeper !! Thanks !

This is one of my favorite new summer recipes! I made it for a wedding shower and people couldn't stop talking about how good it was. I added some red onion for color and a little something extra. Next time I make it I'm going to try grilling the corn. What a great way to make use out of wonderful summer veggies!

Was very good!! Used fresh corn on the cob, sauted with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Used a little less oil and a little more lime juice as suggested. Got requests for the recipe and my 4 year old asked for a plate of just this!!

This combination of ingredients appealed to me so I made it for dinner last night. We are having a heat wave, so this seemed perfect. I used fresh corn and whole tomatoes (cut into pieces). I don't care for cherry tomatoes but they do cut down on the watery-ness. This was good but I agree completely with the previous reviewer who said the dressing lacked umph. I added more lime juice and doubled the basil, but it was still bland and a little oily.

I believe in reviewing the recipe as written and as written, I believe the dressing is oily and without enough punch. Could definately be improved by increasing the lime juice to equal the oil, add honey and garlic. Also changing basil to cilantro is an excellent idea but as written it's just a little ho hum. Wonderful fresh summer ingredients though and wonderful potential!!
