This was AMAZING! Dense and rich, but not heavy. And amazingly, my layers turned out looking exactly like the picture! We aren't big cherry or nut people, so I left out the chopped cherries and nuts, but left in the cherry juice. The flavor is just perfect for a twist to plain ol' chocolate cake.

this was okay. I found it to be a little heavy on the almond taste. I used bittersweet chocolate.

Very moist, delicious cake, I would highly recommend it! However I used cinnamon sugar instead of the confectioners'. Great cake! THANKS!! :P
